Arteta played it down yday but within #AFC the expectations for William Saliba are very high. As reported by @TeleFootball this weekend, one of the reasons David Luiz was given a new contract was because the club believes his experience & leadership will help Saliba's adaptation

Saka:

"When I was at Hale end, I just remember always seeing a picture of Jack Wilshere on the walls when I walked in every single day, I just used to tell myself it's possible to get into this first team, that there's a pathway."

Baada ya Mkataba wa Saka kukamilika , Arsenal inamuhitaji Thomas Partey

Arteta:

"Bukayo is a talented and intelligent young player. He has impressed me with his work ethic and attitude to learn & adapt, and it has paid off in his performances. I am excited to continue working with him to develop him further, and for him to help us achieve our goals.”

Thomas Partey is ready to give serious consideration to a move to Arsenal should their long-standing interest translate into an offer for the Atletico Madrid midfielder. [@jamesbenge] #afc

Partey has not taken a definitive decision on his future but has spoken to advisors, friends & team-mates about a possible switch to the Premier League, a move that would intrigue him, while he is open to moving to London. [@jamesbenge]

Depay is a very good player. He has a year left on his contract. If we sell Lacazette and sign Memphis, we will be actually signing a better player right now and saving money for another position. Win/Win.

Corporate lawyer Tim Lewis has been appointed as a non-executive director of Arsenal Holdings Limited and Arsenal Football Club plc.

Tim, a partner with Clifford Chance, joins the boards with immediate effect.

In a statement, Stan and Josh Kroenke said: “We are pleased to announce Tim’s appointment. He will bring additional experience and skills, starting with our work to come out of the current situation in as strong a position as possible.”

Tim Lewis, a lifelong Arsenal fan, said: “I am looking forward to the opportunity to work with Stan, Josh, the board and executive team to help take the club forward at this critical time.”

Lewis played a key role in Kroenke's investment of Arsenal in 2011 and led the team that advised the owner on the deal, which upped his stake to 63%.
