“Everybody wants to come here and we have a really clear idea of what we are. It doesn’t need much convincing and if they do, for me it’s not a good starting point.

The wealth of Arsenal owner Stan Kroenke has increased by over £300million since the start of 2020, a study by a leading American thinktank has revealed.

Kroenke, valued at £8.1billion ($10billion) by Forbes, saw his wealth increase by £323.3million between January 1 and April 10 2020 despite the global economic slowdown brought about by the coronavirus. That is according to Billionaire Bonanza 2020, a study published by the Institute for Policy Studies.

The study found that 34 of the 170 wealthiest billionaires in the USA saw their wealth increase by tens of millions during the period. Joining Kroenke in that group is Joshua Harris, who owns a stake in Crystal Palace.

The revelation of Kroenke's increased wealth comes just weeks after Arsenal agreed a 12.5% pay cut with the majority of their first team. Negotiations between the players and club ultimately led to an agreement between 24 of the 27 members of Mikel Arteta's squad but some are understood to have asked for further clarity over what contribution their owner was making to ease the Gunners through the pandemic.

Football London understands that Kroenke, Sports and Entertainment (KSE) are covering certain financial commitments during the coronavirus pandemic. These are believed to be in relation to cash reserves that the club must retain to cover the covenants on the stadium loan . By using their own funds against loan, Arsenal have more access to cash held in reserve

These 3 coupled with those close to him backing him to join Arsenal.

His wife also would like to move to London as it suits her career

Arsenal Close to Kurzawa

Arsenal is not the only club that has spoken to Kurzawa, Napoli, Milan and Inter would also be interested in their recruitment although it seems that the option that pleases the player most is that of the 'gunners '.
