Mesut leaving Arsenal is about SO much more than losing one player. It’s the end of what Wenger spent the last 20 years building. It’s the end of the identity that made so many people fall in love with this club.

Namkubali sana ila acha aende coz tunahitaji Arsenal mpya, akiondoka na Xhaka nadhani ile Arsenal ya kinyonge yote itakuwa imeisha.

Hii ni Arsenal mpya kuanzia management hadi players.

The next chapter.

Interesting points:

- Ornstein says Arsenal would've signed Antoine Griezmann in 2017 if we'd qualified for the Champions League.

- At one point Arteta believed he was just waiting on a call to confirm he was head coach.

- Suggestion Holding will be first-choice XI in future.

To be clear, Arsenal can still fire Emery, regardless of when his contract ends. They'll just have to pay him off, as any other club does. Rare to see coaches see out their actual contract nowadays.
Another couple of points from Ornstein:

- Özil’s GPS data in training is a factor in his current absence.

- Staff and players very impressed with Edu, his background, contacts, character, charisma, everything he needs to succeed. Not afraid to be tough either.

'Arsenal wanted Griezmann in 2017'

Arsenal would have signed Antoine Griezmann from Atletico Madrid in 2017, but their hopes were ended after failing to qualify for the Champions League, according to the Athletic's David Ornstein.

The Gunners would have launched a transfer offensive for the Frenchman but were left in no position to do so after missing out on qualification for the first time in 20 years.

Ornstein also revealed Arsenal were the first-choice destination for Dietmar Hamann back in 1999, but he joined Liverpool after no approach was made from north London.

Wakuu nimeona habari huko Ljunberg can be our next manager .
Isijekuwa ndo yaleyale kama ya Ole solskjaer.

freddie ni Icon, safi, nikimuona kwenye technical bench, he reminds me of Henry,Lehman ...lakini sijui uwezo wake kwenye hii kazi.

"In 2018, Unai signed a three year contract without a break clause, Not a two year deal with an option to extend which has been extensively reported" David ornstein.

Bado yupoyupo sana

Matteo Guendouzi, Mason Mount, Phil Foden, Matthijs De Ligt, Gianluigi Donnarumma, Alphonso Davies, Kai Havertz, Jadon Sancho, Vinicius Junior, Joao Felix, Rodrygo....

I can’t remember a Golden Boy list with so much competition. Some serious talent breaking through globally.

I’m honour of his birthday, here are some of my favourite quotes about Mesut Özil:

‘If you love to watch football, you love to watch Özil’ - Wenger.

‘When Özil touches the ball, the ball smiles’ - Mourinho.

‘Mesut is the most intelligent player in Europe right now’ - Lahm.

- Most chances created since joining Arsenal
- Won 3 Fa Cups
- Over 80 goals & 200 assists in his professional football
- FIFA Ballon d'Or nominee, thrice
- 5 times German player of the year

Whatever happens in the future, Ozil will be one of the best to ever play for Arsenal.
