Arsenal have a prolific striker of their own, though, and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyanghas scored more London derby goals than any other player this season (6).
Emery must decide whether to start with one striker once again after both Aubameyang and substitute Alexandre Lacazette scored against Bournemouth on Wednesday night.
Koscielny was not the only injury doubt to emerge from that game, although the knocks suffered by Sead Kolasinac and Alex Iwobi are also not thought to be serious and all three could be in contention.
Stephan Lichtsteiner, Granit Xhaka and Shkodran Mustafi could all return to the side after being left out in midweek, although Emery may also be wary of making too many changes from one of his side's best performances this season.
Mesut Ozil and Henrikh Mkhitaryan were particularly productive and will hope to have done enough to retain their starting spots above the likes of Denis Suarez and Aaron Ramsey.
