Who is that who was saying that
witchcraft does not exist. I have a true
story here. It goes:
A Matamanga resident in Tunduru
District, Said Mohamed Mkwanda (26),
has allegedly been mysteriously
'transformed' into a goat after killing a
goat of fellow villager.
A Ward Executive Officer, Ally
Kummonela, said Mkwanda turned into
a goat on January 23. The goat of
Rashid Mohamed Katona (68)
disappeared on January 3, 2014!
The disappeared goat was one of the
four being kept by Katona.
Following the disappearance of the
goat, Katona spent two weeks asking
its whereabouts and warning that
whoever killed it would face serious
consequences, but to no avail.
Kummonela said that after that
'spirited', but futile appeal for whoever
dealt a blow to him by killing the goat
to come out that the elderly man set
out to seek assistance of a medicine
man.
The result of the move is that
unbelievable spectacle, Mkwanda
being turned into a goat, he said.
When asked why opt for such uncalled
for punishment to the young man,
Katona was quoted by Kummonela as
saying that the action was in line with
the pain he suffered from the loss of
one of its goats.
He vowed that he would not be
responsible for any moves to
'resurrect' the 'goat' back to manhood,
according to Kummonela.
