Apple sells is nothing more than an opinion? Well that was a poll done by Times magazine mate. So I don't see how is that just my "opinion." And let's not forget we r talking about technology and like anything else, there sides to choose from. Yes I am a bloody android fan and NO one shoved an iPhone down my throat. So what's your point again?? Cz I don't seem to see it. I never denied that I wasn't an android fan cz I AM! Lastly, who in their right mind would "identify" themselves by a OS? I think u chose the wrong words to insert there. But since we r talking about technology/OS and hardware, yes I can identify myself as an Android fan, but that doesn't mean its my ultimate identification of me a whole person. Same thing if we were talking about sports I'd "identify " myself as a Bulls fan, Chelsea FC fan etc...

Wow wow wow!! That's one exaggerated opinion, cz it isn't a fact. 95% would give apple a monopoly over the smartphone industry in the US. I live here that's why I say that, and plz I am not trying to be arrogant by discrediting you as a person, NO that's not my intention. I am just discrediting your opinion so it doesn't lead to further misconceptions.

Here is a poll that was done in 2012 by Apple's insider, 25% of Americans used iPhones. And if the numbers r to increase, it's probably by 3-5% more in 2014.

The reason I brought up my experience working for Apple retail, wasn't to "insult" anyone as u put it. It was because in 2009 we did a store survey for a year, to what generation did we sell to the most and guess what by our Q3 meetings we found out that we sold more to Teenagers and Older folks. It's cited in the Apple's store website under retail surveys. So can I call that a fact? I guess to your high literate standards you wouldn't consider it as a fact. I repeat again, I did not say that apple users are unintelligent, NO I did not and do not think so. That will be ignorant of me, and I think I went to school to get rid of such stupid ignorance. Like I said on my first quote, that Technology is like fashion. What u think is great doesn't mean someone else will think the same. I respect Apple as a tech giant, they design some of the best hardware to date (with HTC coming close) but I'm not an IOS fan, and I stated my reasons why! So don't paint me as some ignorant rant who thinks a group of users are dumb cz they use a certain Eco-system. And dude next time, argue like a knowledgeable person, and never make or take things personal if they're not. And above all sometimes its okay to just disagree which is what we should do. Yes, Double majored in Economics. When I graduated 2012 (IUSB) then I got a Academic scholarship for an Economic Degree. So I have 1 more year and I'll have a Bachelors in Software Engineering and a bachelors in Economics!

As for me, I'm arguing like a knowledgeable person as I make u accountable for what you say without backing it up, and still your backing of retail experience, while it is valid it doesn't account for millions of iPhones sold, and as you said you worked at an apple store by a university which is close to college kids hence the demographic of teens is to expected, so no surprise why your store had such experience.

If u live in the states you'll remember that Samsung commercial which showed a group of "apple" fans or users, waiting in line for the next iPhone which I think was the 5s if I'm not mistaken. The majority of the group was made up of Old people and teenagers. Why did they do that u think? Cz they read about the study that apple itself did, on the demographics of apple users. Now I'm on the road traveling, when I get home I'll dig up the research from big tech names and news outlets. Cz I think those are the kinda facta u want. But I believe collected polls can also count as facts.
