Hi all,

Whenever i upgrade my strong 4922, the power vu keys get lost. I usually take the below steps before and after upgrade;

- Upload Keys, Channels List etc on to USB device
- Upgrade via USB
-Factory reset the receiver
-Download the keys, channel list

My receiver is then able to open biss channels without hitch but does open power vu channels until i manually input the keys.

Any tips/solutions

mah-mah123, Insert flash, file manager, run/upgrade. Your settings will remain intact.

The reason for loosing your biss settings is becoz ur resetting to factory. Please don't. Gd evening.

Its very advisable to factory reset the decoder to allow all changes to take effect.

Good morning ASAS members, who is able to get 6ft (eurostar) dishes at a cheaper price...the current price is 9k? What about SRT 4922? Actually i'm going back to my clients record and buying back the 6ft dishes from those who are willing to sell back. Lesson learnt: never 'dharau' and satellite equipment because of age or shift of channels...they might be useful at a later date. Last year the price 6ft dish had gone down to almost 4700/- ; now it is 9000/-. Last Saturday i found use of T-Connectors that i had bought almost 7 years a go.

I was also looking for one yesterday. Riwara were quoting 8500! I asked them why it was too high and they said that it was out of stock but they are expecting it in 2weeks time. Called Abasheikh in Mombasa and it's the same narrative. Sasa natafuta second-hand

They must differ in number,edit HB@ from TP 3#74H to 3#78H and ident 03#78 . The receiver doesn't differentiate between H-Horizontal and V-Vertical.

Am amazed of the stuff i can get using my pf which has been lying on the dirt n unused for the last over five years now. Astoundingly, last month i learnt from this very honorable forum that a 180cm pf is much much better than an offset.

I have packed my offsets for future use.

I think the offsets just have structural problems, otherwise, from kungu, cogil, mankuri, gkogola... & the other guys with whom we were @ the Romanian- based forum had proved otherwise. That a 90 cm offset outperforms a 180 cm pf. 1 have those two sizes and for years that has been the experience. I think the variables in your equation are not straight.

I was not trying to compare the offs and pfs parse, but my opinion was that with a pf, and some 'codes', one can enjoy more of their favorites due to their availability. i learnt this late though!

last night I gave it some energy, I was able to open a number of channels HBO, CNN, premium, which I failed before (Sony is easy). It seems V8 Combo open powerVu that are accessible if you have the right keys together. the starting point is www.netkeysat.net, www.najmsat2018.com and Upload Center.
