According to Crosat, it seems there is a new software update for SRT 4930 that can handle Spo*t 24 HD*.
It is called "SRT4930_ALL_180p_20160215.zip**".
How does one download it ? And what happened to the "wizkid.persiangig" site ?

8W Eutelsat 8B

Last night I was able to nab Eutelsat 8B at 8w on my 1.2m dish using Invertor Black Dual lnb with SRT 4920a decoder. My Location is Zambia and copperbelt in particular.

The signal was as follows,
11471 V 27500 was at 55%,
11512 V 27500 was at 53%
11554 V 27500 was at 53%.

After scanning the said TP's, no single channel popped.

Someone to give me the Signal Strength they are getting these TPs...

The signal has to be above 59‰ on 4920 & 4922 models for you to get pictures

Hi Giden, Yesterday i slept very late becoz of this.

I deleted all the channels from is20 and rescanned. The disc**** tps did not load channels, I did manual scan for the tp and got them with success with nice pics n sound.

I biss keyed HB@ but no video n sound. They were showing b4 i biss keyed biss 4 Disc*** with 1.91p updates.

Is the ident not 03@74 and 00 starting with CE************* 01 E4*****************?


Can't understand the conflict btn 03#74v & 03#74H. Will appreciate your assistance.

Good morning ASAS members, who is able to get 6ft (eurostar) dishes at a cheaper price...the current price is 9k? What about SRT 4922? Actually i'm going back to my clients record and buying back the 6ft dishes from those who are willing to sell back. Lesson learnt: never 'dharau' and satellite equipment because of age or shift of channels...they might be useful at a later date. Last year the price 6ft dish had gone down to almost 4700/- ; now it is 9000/-. Last Saturday i found use of T-Connectors that i had bought almost 7 years a go.

There's a shop (Smart Electronics) on Luthuli av. that was selling 2 Eurostar types at ksh. 6,200 and 6,700 respectively. Last time I checked in Nov. 2015

Just visit the crosat* site and click on the green down-pointing arrow to download zip file (6.67 Mb),
then extract it and feed your "hungry & starving" SRT 4930* stb normally. Your stb will show it as 013p.
I have already updated my old 4930* and it is now at par with SRT 4922* (if not even better) as far as clearing
channels like --Sp*rts* 24*, --S*ny esp*, --bw**, --GM* etc.
I just love this decosh. Old is GOLD. Don't throw away your old SRT 4930******

They must differ in number,edit HB@ from TP 3#74H to 3#78H and ident 03#78 . The receiver doesn't differentiate between H-Horizontal and V-Vertical.

You are very right. In my store I have 2 QSAT receivers which I bought in 2013 that am rehabilitating because of P@VU. I will resell them or keep them just in case..........
