Check whether your cable is well connected on the cable ends. Ensure there is no shortcircuit on the cable from your decoder to lnb...otherwise if your meter is locking on signal it is ur reciever cable with problem......try connecting meter on the cable to decoder to see whether it works..thnk

Hi klevgit,
i am at work and most likely will be home when it's dark. i have a photo from last year which can give you an idea how to handle this. there is a blank position which i have highlighted where an extra KU lnb can be added to get 5East too. on Friday when am home and working on my setup. i will take a new/clearer picture and share with you. Currently you can have a look at one i took previously.

thank you very much bro.
And if I may what was your primary and could you probably manage to remember the measurements of the fabrications / spacing?

Welcome on board GIDEN,
Now that you have some signal strength and quality, it looks like you have almost nailed this bird. Try Skewing the LNB while monitoring the signal meters. remember to do it as slow as possible and skew angles are very sensitive and also make sure your cable ends are tight both at the LNB and the receiver. Good luck bro.

Sorry Giden,
I i missed the part where you said "Nill Quality", If this is the case, Please Make sure your Pole Is Totally and completely upright so that you can get the angles correctly. Also try using a TP like the one for Fox Movies for NILESAT, when you get this working, then try a tougher one like CNN. If you are still unable to nail it, please report back and we will do this step by step.

thank you very much bro.

Klevit,
7 East is the primary LNB. As for the Measurements, i can only provide after physical measuring because, as you can see in the picture, i never fabricated anything, i used light peaces of timber and Copper wires to link everything up. I intend to do the fabrications but i guess i am getting too comfortable since whatever i did is working verywell for me. You can also chechout FTA Nash's posts where you will find Well Fabricated robotic arms of the same setup. He is the one who inspired me to do this setup too.
1. Start with 7east, Then add Nilesat about 30cm above it, Amos 5 would be roughly 16cm below and 5E would seat diretly ontop of the primary LNB(7e).

On Friday, I promise to give you full details as pictures since that is the day I am dedicating to sarticifying my ASAS symptoms that are begining to show up again for the Uganda Local channels.

Anyone who has nabbed SES 4 ,@ 22°W C BAND please provide with the strongest tp coz the WINNERS CHAPEL CHANNEL have migrated to that bird from 62°E and I have clients who need repointing

Hi Vince9,

Very impressed by your setup!kindly confirm if you are able to receive the European Beam of 7E with the set up.

Hi to you all. Am a newbie in this forum and will very much appreciate anyone's assistance on this issue. I recently acquired strong 4950h. After upgrading software from V3 11p to V3 20p I noticed I lost some nice channels like Nat Geo. So I decided to load back v3 11p but unfortunately decoder won't downgrade. Is there a workaround for this, to revert back to V3 11p. N.b Any installer Kiambu, Thika or Nairobi please p.m . Would like you to track mbc for me different dish.

hi ABA2013,

thanks for the comment. Yes i do receive the European beam but it's very unstable and only on clear days BBC Parsian shows up cracking at 55% - 58%. i also acquired an INVERTO ULTRA BLACK QUARD lnd to improve the signal but ended up getting only BBC PERSIAN at 60% on a sunny day with the necoledons(11.554v) coming in at 56% which is also unwatchable. My conclution was to Get my self a 240cm PF or a 150cm offset. that way i will bring down the mighty European beam with a descent signal quality and strength. still finding ways of sqeazing my budget to get the 240cm PF, bIG offsets and not easily available in KLA according to my research.
