hi guys, yesterday it rained heavily in mombasa which offered me a chance to review the three lnb i have....namely Eurostar P8, Stargold fuji SG-920 and Inverto black pro
Eurostar P8

currently mounted on a 130cm offset dish, on Eutelsat 7E african beam. On a clear day, S-73%, Q-90%. Yesterday while it rained, S-66%, Q-90%...no signal fade noted at all. It was the only satellite I was able to watch yesterday
Inverto black pro

mounted on a 90cm offset dish on Amos 5. On a clear day, S-60%, Q-67%(despite all the tweaking this is the highest I could get). Yesterday while it rained S-50%, Q-32%....the channels were scratchy. Interesting it managed to display the channels at a Q-39% but as the rain increased the signal was lost.
Stargold fuji SG-920

mounted on 180cm pf on Nilesat 201. On a clear day S-87%, Q-93%. yesterday while it rained, it was the first to loose the signal. All the channels were unwatchable ie "no signal"
I acknowledge its not a fair comparison based on different dish sizes and different satellite nabbed but in my opinion the Eurostar P8 outperforms the others. I had to move the inverto from the 130cm dish as it was unable to lock the Eutelsat 7E signal. Th P8 managed quite easily......:yo:
did u mount the inverto black on a feedhorn. Its supposed to attach to a feed horn which should correspond to the type of dish u r using. That's what those holes around the rim are for. Try that first to pass a fair judgement. But all in all eurostar lnbs with a noise figure of 0.3db or less are indeed very good.
