Not just the Kenyan ones, even the radio stations as well as the Tz channels seem to behave similarly on my end. Incidentally, what's new with 3.20p? Is it bringing in the 11617v30000 on 7E?

I notice this on my decorders other than 4922 which is not affected by this.... wonder why ? codecs , video formats, encyption ?...:confused2:

Thanx man ranksat but when i went on with loading patch on my 4922 was unsuccesful since the file couldnt pick the patch..i later realised my decoder's current software doesnt contain file manager in external device..does it mean i have a fake decorder?or there's a process of loading patch on strong 4922a gadget?help please

I suspect its a fake srt4922. One quick way to notice if the decoder is fake or genuine is to look at the back of the remote control.Genuine ones their remote have a big S logo at the back and strong website is written @ the back. Fake ones are just blank at the back of their remote. Genuine strong firmwares will not be detected by fake strong decoders.

You actually read my mind.. I 've been wondering about that too..esp now that CNN has docked on that position and of course we have the kenyan + Ugandan Muxes over there as well.. so It would be a nice direction to point your C-band Dish..

My meter as usual can only pick DVB-S signals only and Sayare TV seem to be the only station using DVB-S according lyngsat

I tried this bird with a 180 ft PF and failed to get a the Ug, and Nigerian muxes. Any thots on that members? Am in Ug 10 Kilometers east of Kampala.

Thanks Gich, any mobile number....so its 1000/- for each 10 cm of offset dish...ASAS is proving to be pricy :disapointed:

Same here...and for the first time since I started updating. I even re-downloaded but still got that error. Gave up when I realized my favorite tp was scrambled. I will re-try this evening.

Hi Gich. I re-downloaded & unzipped the file on different usb sticks and tried both usb ports with no success. For a moment I was afraid I had a fake box. Please re-try & let me know your results.

In regards to the freezing issue on Amos 5 channels, have noted channels with this issue are in "H264" format - I believe our players are having a hard time displaying these stations (may be software issues or processor efficiency). Someone confirm this kindly...:confused3:

Lena, I managed to update my srt 4950h. I went here: Sat Upload Center | Humax | Strong | Dreambox | Tv Channels | Sky Star 2 | Biss | Keys and downloaded the zip folder: SRT4950H_V3.20P_20150403.zip. I unzipped it into a .bin file and saved in a clean usb disk (clean in terms of no other files and not infected). I used the rear usb port on my stb and it recognized it at once.

And relax, you do not have a fake stb. I confirmed with the manufacturers that there are no fake 4950s in the market. I even authenticated mine with them.

It's true there's an intermittent freeze of the video but only on SRT 4950 series,4922 quite fine.I'm quite sorry for wrong comment.

Upgraded the firmware of my SRT 4950H and right away noted that It could open the Bein Sports group of channels on 7E 12521 Mhz until yesterday.. seems like the updaters included the old biss key .

Anyway, I needed feed back on cccam, anyone used the receiver on to access card sharing services?
My experience is not so good..
