Yes you can.

You can get the said satellites (Nilesat 201 & Eutelsat 7 west A) which are located together using a 1.6 meter offset dish or 2.4 meter prime focus dish in Dar es salaam.

A fellow satmate based in Dar is locked on Nilesat 201 using a 1.3 meter offset dish.

Yeah. The FTA prophets foretold this twice earlier this year. The prophecy is coming true ..... Let me figure out where to point my 130Cm Offset dish next! ....... with tears rolling down my cheeks .....
Someone by the name dejumbo got a new 180Cm offset recently ...... no pain, there are plenty of other sats to utilise that Big Beautiful Dish too!

Yes that "Someone" is me and it is true I got very good signal results on on all DigiTurk channels with it. I however did not buy the 180cm offset dish just to get those channels only. For your information, I was already getting them anyway on my 240cm PF dish with Inverto Ultra Black LNB and I am still using 8ft PF on Eutelsat 7A. As a mastter of fact I enjoy using my new 180cm offset dish to test and hunt for other fringe satellites like the Badr group Astra etc.
Just like in your area (country) even here in Kampala and Uganda in general, we do have satellite enthusiasts who enjoy the hunt for fringe satellite signals. I hope this will not shock or surprise you. By the way Uganda is that country that borders Kenya in the west and RDC in the east.

Thank God to today's open society in our part of the world.. In some countries, you require a special permit to own a dish. information flow is government controlled and access to "foreign" material highly prohibited. FTA-sat enthusiast are not tolerated.. long live FTA
