At a cost of 2,500 sh for the dish without the mounting bracket but with the lnb holder. Is it that they haven't worked out the offset focal point well on the starsat resulting in disappointing results?

Srt 4950 H tuner card is just slightly more sensitive than Srt 4922HD by about 4 percent.

Main downside of Srt 4950 H is blind scan of C-Band frequencies.
Wont lock on all frequencies and sometimes the frequencies come up duplicated

No firmware yet out to address this main issue.

it depends on your location I got hold of two at dadaab post office after parting away with 2kg of Mirza on was stolen and sold kama scrap while away at job the other one is in oloitoktok waiting for me to go and pan it hope I ain't part of Anglo leasing

Morning mrmwash, my location is Nairobi and my dish size is 130cm eurostar and GT-SAT quad lnb(GT-QD40D). Samson twin also performs well but one am using gives slightly good results than samson on weak signals

The 4950M latest patch have an updated biss keys for most of the channels so no need to input, it also has other updated keys, nagravision, viaccess, irderto, crypto but most of the channels which can be opened are out of our reach
Drawback on this receiver is it doesn't have a blind search but seems to blind scan for itself when you do a satellite search just like the zuku castle net decoder

In Nairobi, using a Samson twin LNB placed in the position shown below on a 90cm offset dish, will get you the elusive frequencies of Eutelsat 8 West A steerable footprint.

The elusive frequencies include,
MBC channels on frequency 11471 V DVB-S SR 27500
QTV 11512 V DVB-S SR 27500
KTV2 11678 V DVB-S SR 27500

At that lnb position, remember to change your frequency polarity from V (vertical) to H (Horizontal).

This is the best position for Samsom twin LNB so as to get Eutelsat 8 West A steerable beam on a 90cm offset dish in Nairobi.

hi heviejob. I have the star track and i haven't seen any hitches. pointed at 7/8w. compared with results posted here for the same sats by members, no difference in performance.

Try SRT 4950M widely discussed yesterday. SRT 4950M costs no more than 4K.

Not at all sir. QTV is a dedicated Action Movies Channel whilst KTV2 is Kuwait Tv Channel2. KTV2 is more of a Family Channel (quite interesting though).

Please note that both channels are in English pronounce albeit with Arabic subtitles.
