Tomorrow am on a quest to nab Eutelsat 7e using a 90cm offset and a inverto Black Lnb.. Currently locked on 7w using the same dish size and lnb and am getting superb signal quality

will be waiting for your feedback!!i also have a 90cm( former d***v) its already locked to eutelsat 7E but am just getting ses 5 and Africa beam (7e). my interest is the European Beam b on Eutelsat 7e which currently have 120cm locked with S of 76-80% and quality of 50-75%. I received the European beam by accident back in 2010 using 90cm dish, i'd suggest you start with tp hosting BBC Persia. I can't offer a tip since it was purely by accident. Tried nailing the bird on Friday but wasn't successful. Good luck to you.

Just rescanned last evenning on 4922 and got all the bein channels with signal quality of 78%. that means 4922 is ok. Good luck.

Thanks for the confirmation, I tried both 4922 and 4950H on 180cm offset and both are working, Ill check again where the 4950H was, could be minor issue like signal, connector etc.

Greetings on this new year ,some quick questions i need assistance

1. Have upgraded my srt 4950h with the v2.28 patch ,but i cant get the patch menu so i cant edit biss keys,what am i misssing? do you have a step by step manual for this srt

2. I have a dlink usb wifi dongle but the 4950h cant see it on any of the usb ports
the dlink has only a cd with windows drivers . any ideas?

Previosly before i got 130c
offset, i was getting all the mbc channels (79% quality) here in
Kampala with a 90cm offset, i strongly believe that you can get these
channels with 130cm offset. What is the quality on your Dubai one
channel? are you getting fox movies tp? You may also need to get a high
gain lnb like Inverto ultra black single for your location. it's cheaper
to invest in a better LNB i think.

if u r getting Dubai One, its ovious that you should be able to get Mbc channels and fox movies too. 73% quality on Dubai one is very good. You may need to check with a spirit level to make sureyour pole is perfectly upright. I Will intetionally reduce my Dubai one quality to 73% and get back to you with my verdict. Meanwhile, check your pole from all sides.

Happy New Year Sat Family!!

Is any one receiving MBC Bollywood? The other thing is that I am interested to connect my 1.8m pf dish to a motor so that I would have the piece of mind of not getting on the roof anytime I wan't to switch satellite!! I am currently on Nilesat, my location Mombasa. Any help would be appreciated.
