RT Documentary HD channel was only available in part of Africa on Measat 3A using a 2.4 meter prime focus dish.

RT Doc is a 24-hour documentary channel presented by RT bringing you the best of Russia in English.

The Tp 12322 v 27500 is on Eutelsat 7 WA (and not Nilesat 7W) which is difficult to receive in Dar. 11938 v is also red on my end here in dar.

The Ipad App I use is actually called iAngleFinder, Release Aug 21, 2012 (on US Apps site), very simple and straightforward. I see I have also downloaded "Tiltmeter" but dont think I have used it. Together with DP Maps and or Dish Align, it makes finding Sats quite easy.

I went to Luthuli, scouted for stuff, wasn't lucky to find Strong 4922 HD. Bought 4950 at 7,000/= but i left my number at Riwira as they are expecting a shipment of SRT 4922 in late January. I manged to get Samson Twin LNB @ 1,500/= and starlife Universal and some RG6 cable at 20/= per metre and F-connectors.
After about 2 hours of searching, i nailed Nilesat 7W with a 90cm offset dish. The BBC and CNN Tps are elusive but as at now, let me enjoy the MBC, FOX and some FTA Bein HD sports channels. This FTA business is sweet.

My next project is to nail another bird using my idle 90cm D*S*T*V dish.

Followed up with Northumberland ipad idea plus using a meter stargold -10sf.i managed to land on Eutelsat 7A @7E with the 120cm dish ,Ultra Black LNB .I can get the TPS for African beam at 80% signal and Quality for most of the tps

No luck with the Europen Beam channel.I had promised my engineer 6yr old nickeodeon & cartoon networ ,now am in a quandry.!The LNB arm is at 47 degrees to the Horinzontal. I am stumped , i changed the LNB to stargold to same effect .Only Africa beam receivable and some zuku channels (most of the channels are scrambled). Looks like something missing or need fine tuning,Any more suggestions

the signals is is good that even in bad weather is still strong and watchable. Thats the good thing about C Band reception!

i was at that shop to buy the same stuff but the 4950 did let me down it is reluctant to boot am just hoping riwira will do something. goodluck with your bird hunting. but if you have another dish siungechukua 4way diseqc switch.

I rescanned beIN fequencies on 4950H and now not showing besides the FTA, Humax is OK. anyone experiencing the same, how about 4922?

Just rescanned last evenning on 4922 and got all the bein channels with signal quality of 78%. that means 4922 is ok. Good luck.

Previosly before i got 130cm offset, i was getting all the mbc channels (79% quality) here in Kampala with a 90cm offset, i strongly believe that you can get these channels with 130cm offset. What is the quality on your Dubai one channel? are you getting fox movies tp? You may also need to get a high gain lnb like Inverto ultra black single for your location. it's cheaper to invest in a better LNB i think.
