Got an SRT4922 locked on Nilesat, i need to explore the iptv option but internet is kinda expensive.
Are there any options of getting free/cheap internet around...i see guys talking about cable modems connected to the dish for free internet, how true is this and can it be done??

Also rescan 11900 V 27500 for Guest channel (z*u*k*u) now open. Showing sporting action (ses 5). Getting ses 5 and 7e on same position and same lnb. Enjoy.

How do you nab SES 5 and eutelsat 7E on same LNB? Can you share your install photo and whats the size of the dish?
I managed to nab Eutelsat 7w/nilesat7w and SES 5 on a 90 cm offset on two LNBs but I cannot get 7E.

hi everyone. am new to the forum but not a novice in snooping around and fishing for info on sat and all. This has led me into purchasing the latest strong srt 4950h and a 130cm offset dish. However, i run into problems on hunting or getting a signal. im getting a signal strength abv 80% but 0% signal quality. it has really frustrated me and evaded me in equal measure. i must confess am an amateur here.
i started wt the way the dstv dishes are aligned in my area(umoja2, nairobi) set my elevation to 88° n turned n turned till eternity. upto now sijafanikiwa. so am asking for your proffesional help or someone kindly recommend a pro/technician. am told SAT2 is in my area but dunno how to contact. special thanks to Luther(Klister)for his input

Are you using a Satellite finder to aim at the SAT? If you are doing it using your eyes only you will fail unless you can
have a completely perpendicular mount to the earth. Moving few degrees off the target means you miss it especially for fringe SATs. Get the cheap satellite finder it will help you big time.

By the way what's the make of 130cm dish, where and how much did it cost. Am looking for a 100 cm or 120 cm to replace my 90 cm since am not sure if the 130 cm will fit in a hatchback when transporting it.

The biss key is working on the said channel on frequency 3730 V DVB-S2 8psk 30000 Africasat 1a at 46.0°E C Band>>>>Nat Geo Gold biss key - Biss key

Also on the same frequency, Glow Tv from South Africa which is currently on OpenView HD platform on SES 5>>

1.8 meter prime focus dish sufficient to lock on Africasat 1a at 46.0°E C Band in most parts of Africa

you need a bigger dish, 130cm/prime focus for that any way can you post the pics we see pliz
