African Satellite World and Sat Gear

I think "wickets" relate to cricket not rugby. Saw same matches being advertised on £S&N HD at 66e
Just curious. On which stb and dish size are you managing £S&N HD at 66e? Tried it to no avail on 1.8m. Receivable at 68.5 but v7 combo failed to reel it in.

Srt 4955 with 8ft. 6ft can do I think with a good lnbf

There's a pro somewhere telling people a six ft pf can receive nigcomsat in Kenya. I highly doubt. The beam fades away Somewhere in Congo at least according to lyngsat.

Can someone definitively confirm?

I know there are piles of 6ft. dishes waiting to be sold along luthuli avenue but it would be unfair to trick people into buying them only to find they're useless for the purpose for which they're bought.

hi,
I am surprised to see se5 C band tps.... Is it me or ? Has it always been there ?

Please confirm. I trued to get 4FN on 10_02 but failed. I only got the Namibia channels. But when I checked out 5e cband circular I found a whole nest, more than 10, different 4FN channels. Have they moved or did I misname the SATs?
I gues they moved! Today I tried 0.8 west with all of my skills, using 3 different types of lnbs but i failed. Tomorrow I'll check out 5e. If you won't mind you could pm me the tp.

🙂. Thx man...I'm not badly off ...thot I had slept in class ! (Direct translation from the vernacular)

Hi guy's, currently in Dar and looking for directions, anyone around to recommend a good shop for sat gear and decoders?

Yeah Kariakoo but be very careful! Especially For decoders, if I were you, I would buy all else except for decoders. That alone I would order from EBay or Aliexpress.

But how did someone Trademark the Words "Digital Satellite Television" Abbr. Dstv ?

This is a generic term used to refer to any digital satellite TV receive only signal relayed and received via a geo-stationery Satellite.

It's like trademarking "H20" or LCD or LNB!

Good question. Perhaps its allowed to do that if you are the first to introduce that technology on a continent where everyone else is using terrestrial analog transmission.

That seem like 6ft!
I think if you level the base, it would give you that extra cream digits on signal quality you are looking for to offset the scratching issue.

Because with 6ft I could get H2 late at night, so with 8ft it should be stable.
