Y'all need to forget Nigcomsat if you're living in Kenya and eastern TZ.

There are people lying you'll get it with 6ft. Just to sell the dishes

Afterall it's only tstv thats causing all the euphoria about it. And that is just temporarily FTA and will get encrypted soon.
 
I once nabbed this sat in Lusaka two months ago at 93% on 1.8m of dish but because of constant experiments I lost it and now can't find it. Its one of those SATs which when green has high signal but move your dish one degree either side and it is red. Sometimes I think its at the edge of the arc because on a motorised I fail to get it when all the other SATs are at maximum signal.

That sat was fast becoming an embarrassment and a white elephant for the naija government mainly due to mismanagement(poor marketing) and the fact that it did not have a backup.Maybe our naija brothers will improve their service offering after they bring on board the two sats they are adding (for redundancy purposes) in the next two years as per this report:



....we have renegotiated with China EXIM Bank and China Great Walls, which are the manufacturers and they have agreed to pay the entire $550 million to procure two new satellites. The two new ones will ensure that the Nigerian satellite company which is NigCOMSAT can conquer the entire African continent with regard to the provision of satellite communication services.

Since you are covered by the beam in Lusaka.We can not get it here under fringe reception.The signal needs to be strong and stable.
 
Waungwana msaada natumia Tiger T245+ pro receiver na dish 18ft ila sipati Wasafi tv na pia nimeblind scan @78.5 lakini siipati pamoja na EFM pia nimejaribu kuweka frequency manually bado hazikubali tafadhali mwenye kujua kuingiza hizi chaneli anisaidie maelekezo
NB:sijawahi kupata channel yoyote kwa manually frequency input...Asante

This is misinterpretation of the clause by tacra. The guys were supposed to air the channels as FTA and not as PTV or FTV. For the sake of FTA viewers, where is that clause which prohibits the service provider to air the channels?
