African Satellite World and Sat Gear

That's a good idea, do you have a source?
Another problem. But sometime back there were these NGOs that would distribute them in rural areas.
I'm sure those rural folks have dumped most of them due to their inefficiency as cooking equipment. If I got one I'd try.

Wololo.... yes, I remember. I am sure one can acquire one from Kakuma but what about the distance?

You can also buy one from TransWorld Radio (TWR) in Nairobi on Ngong Road (near Ngong Hills Hotel), Institute of Cultural Affairs (ICA), just off Ngong Road made at the Kabiro Polytechnic in Kawangware that are a bit larger, sturdier, and consequently more expensive.

Or get in touch with them on (02) 560552, 560572, 560574.

That Eurostar gold plus cband lnb alone is worth kes 2k. There's also another one for ku double output i think. Then the ku pf lnb holder! That whole lot is worth over ksh 15k
When old the price depreciates by over 70% as the remaining life is unknown.

Repaint with a dull colour. But if they are shallow the focal point will be very far.

The focal point for visible light and microwaves I think are the same. So the point where the cooking pot is placed (where the reflected visible light meets ) is same point reflected microwaves will meet thus where the lnb should be.

In other words just replace the sufuria with an lnb.

Glad to report that SRT 4955 works well with Disceq 1.2 commands in a motorized multi lnb set up.

Save position, move continuously, move 3 steps, Set West/East Limits, Go to Sat are all working fine via the decoder remote.
