African Satellite World and Sat Gear

today I tracked af*n n 57e n 68.5 hb.*o with supermax 777 n got them but when I changed lnb to pauxis combo c/kuband I got nothing what could be the issue
Well brother i can understand the joy you have in nabbing some SATs by your self that's a step.
Now that may have so many theories but one I can attest is that so far( this is my experience, to some it may be different) is that many c/Ku band lnb have less precision in sensitivity and that failure to hit the signal aimed!
But three things comes into play.

1. You may have attached your f connector on the top horn(Ku) instead of the lower horn(Cband).

2. Unless you have positioned and skewed your Pauxis combo lnb correctly you may not hit the signal. This usually has two steps, one getting yout lnb aim the correct reflection of the satellite signal through fitting and skewing. This alone makes a difference! The other is after you have gotten what you can say the highest possible signal level using only that method then take the scalar ring and slowly turn it anticlockwise or clockwise while watching the changes in signal level.

For me this has always made a huge difference in most cases and made me achieve what previously I couldnt.

Summary
1. Put *BO Symborate and freq first in your satbox then insert the PAUXIS lnb without the dielectric (Teflon). Skew it left or right gently until you get some signal and maximise it then tighten your lnb.
2. After you hit whatever signal level that you seem to call it highest possible in(1) hold the scalar ring and slowly turn it anticlockwise or clockwise while checking your signal level. That should get you there.

If all fails then you know even the mighty Pauxis c/Ku lnb is just another failed attempt by the manufacturer to combine the two. If you ask me I wouldn't buy c/ku lnb not until I prove again my self. I have wasted money on that through the rush without even thinking.
By the way, that *BO is the easiest to hit.

Today is the 15th t$tv was supposed to lock their doors. Did they observe their own deadline this time round?

Very likely they require subscription. Having said that, it would help if you shared with the house whether you are on terrestrial or satellite, and if the latter, then which location your dish is pointed, whether yours is an in built decoder or an stb ......etc

tps means press info in your remote control and give us the readings sir ..
...
I'm very sory but i have to say this, the first clue is eutelsat 7A, that would give you an idea or a a head start, better still another clue azam position.
He didn't provide the tp because he knows those things are what makes ASAS members fail to enjoy because we want everything in the display. With that trend some will post on facebooks and everywhere, before we realise it, its gone.

Forgive me if I have crossed any boundary, if you are used to these things you already know it, like Munyaga did, he just knew it.
Thank you and again I'm sorry!
