WhatsApp wont work on old Nokia, BlackBerry, Android smartphones and iPhone 3GS
If you still own a Nokia ExpressMusic or iPhone 3GS, you wont be chatting on WhatsApp by this year end. WhatsApp, the most popular cross platform messaging app platform, has started notifying the below mentioned smartphone users that the messaging app will stop working on the platform on December 31.
A popup message now appears to every WhatsApp user on Symbian OS, “Unfortunately, you won’t be able to use WhatsApp after 31/12/2016 because WhatsApp will no longer support your phone.”
If you are using one of the affected mobile devices mentioned above, we suggest you to upgrade to a newer Android, iPhone, or Windows Phone before the end of 2016 to enjoy uninterrupted service of WhatsApp.
