Ufafanuzi mkuu...kuna data zilikuwa kwenye word nikaziconvert kwenye excel ili nizicompute kikawaida kwa formula, sasa changamoto iliyokuwepo ni kuwa nikizibadili zinakuwa namba na texts zikiwa zimechanganikana.

Ok, ili kuunganisha workbook mbili tofauti inabidi workbook zote uwe umezifungua
Kama ndio upo kwenye workbook2, na unataka uilink na worbook1 unatype = then unaenda pale chini kwenye task bar, ukigusa icon ya Excel zitatokea screen za workbook zote mbili zikiwa na majina yake, so unaselect screen ya workbook 1 then unaselect cell (unaendelea na step zile zile za kutype formula)
Ukibadili data kwenye workbook 1, changes zinatokea na kwenye workbook 2

Sio lazima uwe umezifungua hizo workbooks!

Nina masupplier watatu wananisupply mafuta ambayo ni Diesel na Petrol,nimetengeneza formula (Sumproduct) ambayo ina criteria 4, ambazo ni Customer Name, Fuel type,Litters, na amount sasa changamoto inakuja kwenye kupata sum ya litters as per customer kama ni Petrol au Diesel.

Sasa nahitaji kupata hiyo sum ya lita

How to draw/ plot Microsoft excell data (surveyor data) into AutoCAD.
1} PLOTING
surveyor data from the GPS devise (in UTM or other format ) or total station can be saved in excell and later ploted in AutoCAD. Those data represent coordinates of a point on earth's surface and they include Horizontal distance (in meters ) East/west (X) Noth /south(Y) , and elevations (Z) and with these data you can plot a profile or alignment in AutoCAD.
~PROCEDURES;
From the excel data will be contained in four columns horizontal distance, elevation,Nothing & easting. Join data from the column Nothing & easting into a single column with a commer in between them by using concatenate function eg 891, 351 where 891 is northing and 351 being easting.
- drag the formula through the range of data available.
-within the same column (at the upper most cell which should be empty) type the following AutoCAD command SPLINE
- Now copy the whole column data including the CAD command
-minimize the excel window and open the AutoCAD application software
- click the command line in AutoCAD, rightclick and paste data copied from excel ...click ENTER !!
-now what you see is the alignment of the surveyed area with respect to the surveyor data from the excel sheet.
Advantage of this is that you can work with large volume of data in a short time to create drawings for road alignment and profiles , water distribution network , site layouts for buildings as well as producing drawings for surveyed land properties.

I came to work on spreadsheets by chance when we were doing a google related project at work and had to report in spreadsheets at all times, I have never looked back since. Bado haina uwezo wa excel (inachukua muda kuformat ukiwa na data nyingi, formula's nyingi haziingiani na excel e.t.c) lakini it will be the spreadsheet of the future no doubt.
Kwa sasa napenda jinsi;
1. The whole team all over the world can work on one spreadsheet and I can track all the changes everyone makes without sending a million emails back and forth.
2. Naweza kufanya mambo yangu kwenye spreadsheet kisha nikai-download kama excel na nikaendelea nayo kama kawa and vice-versa.

Back in days ilikuwa ni very useful thread indeed.
