The midnight of June 19, 2025, TikTokers are on the edge of a digital guillotine in the U.S., facing a ban unless President Donald Trump waves his executive wand yet again. The app, a virtual playground for more than 170 million Americans, is caught in a geopolitical tug-of-war, with its Chinese parent, ByteDance, refusing to sell its U.S. operations, creating a feeling of a stubborn chef guarding a secret sauce recipe. I don’t think Trump will have that much time to both trying to stop missiles in the Middle East while saving our Cat videos, That’s seriously going to be another viral TikTok challenge that US’s Tiktokers will not participate anyway.
