Hili suala la mafuta la super au unleaded petrol ni muhimu na linahitaji umakini sana, hasa ukizingatia upatikanaji wake kwenye vituo vyetu hapa bongo, naomba ushauri wenu wakuu. Mimi nilikuwa sifahamu hili na athari zake.

D4 kaka ni pasua kichwa! Inasumbua sana! Waliowengi hubadilisha hiyo Engine iitwayo Kilitime na kuwekwa Engine za RAV4 Old Model aina ya 3S. Sina hakika kama tabia za gari zinaweza kubaki zilezile baada ya kubadilisha. Nahisi kwenye Dash Board kutakuwa na taa zinawaka kuonyesha mapungufu kwenye baadhi ya mifumo kufuatia kubadilisha Engine

The two engine types are quite different however. While both have similar internals, the big difference is the way the fuel is injected into the engine.
With the VVTI engine, fuel is injected into the inlet manifold to mix with the air prior to entering the combustion chamber.
In the D4 engine, fuel is injected under very high pressure into the combustion chamber itself (direct injection). During the combustion process, air is compressed and at a very precise moment fuel is injected directly into the combustion chamber. The idea behind this concept is to allow the engine to run leaner producing less emissions and lower fuel consumption.
In theory the D4 engine is very good and is an advancement on the VVTI however, history has shown it does not take much to upset the engine performance and issues such as surging, rough idle and engine stutter are not unusual.
Unfortunately these problems are not that easily sorted out with little product knowledge on these engines available within the industry. This often leads to expensive, unnecessary and time consuming repairs.
VVTI stands for "Variable Valve Timing Induction". This engine type is a lot more conventional and improves performance by optimising valve timing. It is a proven system, effective and very trouble free.
The D4 can be recognised by a large plastic cover over the engine with embossed D4 lettering.
If I recall correctly, the VVTI engine has the lettering cast into the aluminium rocker cover on top of the engine.

Vvti ,vvti-l dual valve ni mifumo ya valve kwenye cylinder head , inahususha jinsi hewa inavyoingia na kutoka kwenye combustion chamber, hapo zamani magari yalikuwa na valve moja ya inlet na moja kwa ajili ya exaust , ie 2valve per cylinder, kadiri engine zilivyowa zinaongezeka performance iliuja kuonekana hewa ilikukwa haiingii nyingi kwa mtindo wa vavle mbili ,idea behind ni kuongeza hewa ili uongeze mafuta then performance , ikawekwa valve nne kwa cylinder , nadhani mnayaona madari mengi tu yameandikwa 16 valve - 4 cylinder , 24 valve - 6cylinder.. e.tc.. ok hizi zote tunaziita fixed valve timming!, variable valve ni mfumo wa valve ambao una adjust air intake kadiri ya mizunguko ya engine .

D4 ni mfumo wa jinsi mafuta( petroli) yanavyoingia na kuungua kwenye cylinder ,hapo kabla kulikuwa na EFI , kabla yake kulikuwa na carburetor.. kwa kusema hivyo namaanisha kuwa unaweza kuwa na d4 ambayo ni Vvti , Vvti-L au fixed valve , na unawezakuwa na Efi ambayo nayo ni VVti ,Vvti-L au fixed valve

kama lengo la mtoa mada lilikuwa ni kufanya comparison ya d4 ilikuwa ni vema ku compare with the predecessors systems that is EFi au Carburetors, sio d4 na vvti, nadhani utaelewa jinsi ulivyochanganya mambo !!!!

Nilipoingia Jua kali huko Mtaa wa Lindi hapa DSM kwa mafundi nikifanya utafiti duh! Chaka! Mafundi wetu wote walilalamikia engene hii na kusema ina matatizo. Ila nilijifunza jambo moja, sidhani kama kuna fundi anayerudi shuleni inapotokea technologia mpya ya magari. kwakuwa kwenye sources nyingine wameisifia sana hii engene. Muhimu inataka nidhamu ambayo kwa kawaida ni muhimu kwa mtu yeyote. Mda si mrefu akina mafundi wa mtaa wa Lindi watakuwa wamejua nini cha kung'oa na nini cha kuacha au kumodify kama kawaida yao.

I am just making an order next week for the vehicle with this particular engene. Na nimeshajua wapi wanafanya maintanance hizi, kwa wasomi. Ni gari zilizofungwa sensors ambazo hukujulisha hali ya vifaa vya gari kadri unavyotumia kukuhakikishia uslama, starehe na kudumu kwa gari lako.

Kiongozi kama ulishanunua na kutumia hii gari please naomba maendeleo, I am getting confused, ni kweli zina matatizo?
 
hata zilivyoingia auto gearbox mafundi wetu walikuwa wanasema msinunue ni majanga!!!! sababu kuu ni kuwa walikuwa hawana uwezo wa kuzitengeneza zikileta shida, sasa hivi wanasema D4 mbovu wakati ndio latest and most efficient engine[japanese]....sababu ni ile ile hawana uwezo wa kuitengeneza.....

D4 nyingi zilisumbua hapo juzi kati kwa sababu ya mafuta machafu,uchakachuaji ulizidi sana ila si kwasababu D4 ni mbovu.

Duh! hapa inaonekana wengi wako chaka. Ina maana mkuu gari zote sasa hivi zitakuwa na d4 engine, maana gari yenye carburator niliyowahi kuishuhudia ni zile landrover 109. Kwa maana hiyo gari ambayo injini yake haijaandikwa vvti itakuwa ni fixed valve, ambazo wengi humu wanasema injni zake zinasumbua. Naomba unifafanulie pia kuhusu hizi aina za injini, kwani kuna wengine humu wamesema kuna injini ya 3S, aina zingine ni zipi. Nitashukuru sana.

Hydraulic uliyobadilisha ni gear box? Kama ndio huwa mafundi wengi hawajui vema kuainisha hii fluid, wanachanganya.
 
D4 zina sensor kila mahali... peleka wakafanye diagnosis kwa kifaa cha digital au wengi wanakiita computer... kupima ni kama 60 hadi 70 hivi ila ni cheap kuliko kuwapelekea wapiga nyundo Gerezani. Mafuta yeyote yakiwa chini ya kiwango aidha dash board inawaka au gari inaanza zengwe... unakumbuka gari la msafara wa raisi na mafuta yaliyochakachuliwa Moshi? Na acha kununua mafuta uchochoroni
