Syria: Washington's Death Squads Caught in the Act

Washington wages direct and proxy wars dirty. Favored allies are cold-blooded killers. Cutthroats are America's favorites. The more vicious the better. America's so-called responsibility to protect (R2P) is a license to brutalize and kill.

Guns for hire willing to commit unspeakable crimes for a buck are recruited, armed, funded, trained, and deployed to commit the most heinous ones imaginable. Nothing too gruesome is out of bounds. Killing goes on daily like sport.

Watakuwa wamechelewa nadhani Assad atakuwa amezikomba asset nyingi ambazo hazikuwa mikononi mwake. Pia nadhani zile zisizohamishika atakuwa amewapa/milikisha ama Warusi au China au wote kwa pamoja kuruka kiunzi hiki.

France to push for arming Syria's opposition coalition
France's foreign minister has said he will discuss supplying arms to the Syrian opposition coalition with European partners.

The government plans to push for a relaxation of the EU arms embargo to Syria to enable "defensive arms" to reach opposition fighters.

France is the first Western power to recognise the coalition as the Syrian people's legitimate representative.

Contact group to be formed for Syria to end violence

Iran's Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi announced the news on the sidelines of the second day of the Syria National Dialogue meeting in Tehran on Monday.
"The new committee starts its work from today. From now on the Syrian delegates will be in charge of these meetings. Our goal was to help initiate a national dialogue and now it is up to them to carry on," Salehi said.

Syria: Islamist Nusra Front gives BBC exclusive interview

"Don't blame Bashar. What's happening to us is of our own making," she said as, behind her, Free Syrian Army (FSA) fighters struggled to keep order.

It is widely believed in Aleppo that the bread shortage was caused by the FSA stealing flour to sell elsewhere.

An FSA officer confirmed as much when I asked him if this had been done by individual fighters or was ordered by commanders to fund their operations.

"Both," he said, "including my own brigade." He added, ruefully: "We are all thieves."

This was not a fight for democracy.

"In the name of God, praise is to God and peace upon our Prophet Muhammad," he began, "the people in Syria are religious by nature."

"They like Islam. People here are fed up with socialist and secular regimes. They are all looking forward to an Islamic state. It is impossible there could be anything else in Syria."

what is happening now in syria is beyond massacre,
Seriously!!are those opposition terrorists?

I cant stand watching the news anymore

The Syrian opposition leader met the foreign ministers of Russia and Iran on yesterday, opening a window to a possible breakthrough in efforts to broker an end to Syria's civil war.

Russia and Iran have been the staunchest allies of Syrian president Bashar al-Assad throughout an armed uprising, and any understandings they might reach with Dr Assad's foes could help overcome the two sides' refusal to negotiate.

At an annual international security conference in Munich, Syrian National Coalition leader Moaz Alkhatib had talks with Russia's Sergei Lavrov that may have been made possible by Mr Alkhatib signalling readiness to talk to Damascus.

"Russia has a certain vision but we welcome negotiations to alleviate the crisis and there are lots of details that need to be discussed," Mr Alkhatib said after the meeting.
