Syria is becoming another somalia, watch this space, the Western influence has been tied, they are trying to save face from the anti-islamic state banner. Syria is failing big time, its time the Islamic republic by themselves salvage syria in face of changing international dynamics.

This is barbaric and against treatment of prisoners of war.
Syria is in a very bad situation and the world doesn't really know who is the bad guy.
But if FSA takes over, we should expect a Taliban like government.
And these FSA must be so bad because even Iran does not support them.

Baada ya kuona FSA inapata wakati mgumu , US na NATO nations aka ("international community") wanaingiza mkakati mpya.

A UN commission investigating human rights abuses in Syria says it has drawn up a new secret list of Syrians and units suspected of war crimes.

Lead investigator Paulo Sergio Pinheiro said they had gathered a "formidable and extraordinary body of evidence".

He also urged the UN Security Council to refer the situation in Syria to the International Criminal Court (ICC).

In August, the commission reported that systematic violations, including murder, torture and sexual violence, had been authorised at the highest levels of the Syrian government.

Syrian rebels defect to government forces
A group of Syrian rebels from the Free Syrian Army (FSA) defected and joined pro-government forces on Wednesday. The troops' commander announced that "the road is open," and called on to other rebels to abandon their uprising.

­Eleven rebel troops – three officers, two warrant officers and six civilians – defected from the FSA and now support President Bashar al-Assad, AFP reported.

"We have decided to return to the army and cooperate with the Ministry of National Reconciliation," Lieutenant-Colonel Khaled Abdel Rahman al-Zamel said during a conference of non-combatant Syrian opposition groups.

Afrika ya Gaddafi haipo ninakoishi mimi. Kama aliiongoza Afrika basi ni kwa maono yako na uduni wa fikra. Mtu mbinafsi asiyewaamini Walibya wenzake kuwa wanao uwezo wa kuingoza Libya, atakubali mtu mwingine aiongoze Afrika?

Maiti Gaddafi hakuwa kiongozi, alikuwa MTAWALA tena wa mabavu. Kama unaamini kweli alipendwa, mbona hakuwa jasiri wa kuitisha uchaguzi?

Hata ya Gaddafi yalisemekana yako vizuri, tena tukaambiwa kuwa raia wake wanampenda kweli kweli kiasi kwamba hawawezi kumuacha atolewe, watampigania. Lkn tulichokiona mwisho wa mchezo ni raia hao hao wakipanda juu ya vifaru kushangilia kuuwawa kwake kama mbwa sababu ya kung'ang'ania madaraka.

Kujifariji kwa maneno hakujengi. Ikiwa kiongozi yupo kwa ridhaa ya wananchi basi asingekuwa na hofu ya kufanyika uchaguzi, manake angejua fika kuwa kura za wanaompenda ni za kwake.

Udikteta ni hali ya kutoajiamini linapokuja suala la Social Capital. Gaddafi, Mubarak na Al Assad wanalijua hilo na ndio maana madaraka yao yamekuwa yakishikiliwa kwa mabavu. Hebu tazama ujuha wetu wa kuamini maneno ya mitaani; Gaddafi anawapa wananchi wake chakula bure, anatoa $50,000 kwa kila kijana anayeoa ili akaanzie maisha, elimu bure, matibabu bure n.k. Hivi kwa akili tu ya kawaida, kama serikali inatoa fedha nyingi hivyo kwa raia, bureeee, kuna mtu atafanya kazi?

Mbaya zaidi, tunaongea as if tuna ushahidi ilhali wenye nchi yao wameamua kumtoa. Tunasema wamechochewa. Kama wamechochewa basi hawakwenda shule, je hiyo elimu bure alikuwa anampa nani kama sio marafiki zake wanaomsaidia kukaa madarakani kwa mabavu.

Al Assad days are numbered, jifarijini kwa sababu mnazozijua lkn ukweli ndio huo.

The authorities on Friday seized large amounts of machineguns, sniper rifles, ammunition and satellite communication devices in hideouts of the armed terrorist groups in al-Salamiyeh area in the northern countryside of Hama province.​

A military source told SANA reporter that the seized weapons included 49 machineguns, RPG launchers, BKC machineguns, a 14.5-mm machinegun, 3 12.7-mm machineguns, 4 RPK machineguns, 4 sniper rifles and 4 RPGs.​

The source added that an Arabsat satellite communication device and 25 Turkish-made military beds , in addition to large amounts of medicine and medical equipment were also seized.​

UN envoy to Syria, Lakhdar Brahimi, met on Monday the National Democratic Bloc delegation at Dama Rose Hotel in Damascus.
Secretary-General of the National Youth for Justice and Development Party, Barwin Ibrahim, pointed out in a statement to journalists after the meeting that the National Democratic Bloc presented its point of view on the crisis in Syria and the vision of its parties for dealing with the crisis.

Ibrahim said that the bloc criticized the international community for not listening to the voice of the opposition inside Syria and adopting the point of view of the outside opposition which does not represent the Syrian people and calls for foreign intervention.

She said that the international community considers the political solution of the crisis in Syria as a compromise and reconciliation among the superpowers.

For his part, Secretary-General of the National Democratic Solidarity Party, Salim Abdul-Wahab al-Kharat, said that the bloc is searching for a roadmap to deal with all national opposition powers inside Syria, calling for halting violence by all sides.

Secretary-General of the Syrian Democratic Party, Firas Nadim, stressed the importance of lifting the suffering of the Syrian people because of the oppressive economic sanctions, calling on the UN envoy to Syria to play a bigger role in exerting pressure on the countries which are supporting the armed terrorist groups to end bloodshed in Syria.
