With my esteem pleasure n reserved demeanor since many Kenyans have turned to be "doubting Thomases" on Tanzania's capability to undertake the project especially on whether phase I n II of 5 phases are currently U/C, i have chosen to open up this thread to just give you people an insight of what is happening on day and night to make sure the line gets to Mwanza and of course to Isaka, Bujumbura n Kampala.

Na mimi naomba ku uliza hivi ya Kenya maximum ni 120km/hr ndo ivo mwathadan?
maximum ni 158km/hr but operating speed inachezea averagely 120km/hr.......sasa nataka kujua hizi kelele zote kutoka kwa watanzania huwa za nini kama train yenyu itafanya max 160km/hr, obvious haiezi operate with max speed

kinachoongewa ni operating speed. Na kuanzia Makutupora to Mwanza where the topology is flat, the plan is to go above 180km/h.

Hata nyinyi wakati inajengwa mliambiwa ita enda kwa 120km/hr right!! na hiyo ni average na ndyo inatambulika rasmi hizo nyingine ni bla bla za Mchina! kwa sababu kuna sehemu speed lazima ipungue, na kuna sehemu inaruhusu top speed, kwa hyo ata hii yetu ambayo ni electric na ita tambaa kwenye continous welded track kuna sehemu ita enda zaidi ya 160 usishangae ikafika 280 si unajua yetu ni modern zaidi
