Worst moment of the game was that Cristiano's one on one enconter with the Keeper never thought a player of his caliber would hit it straight into his body and what a quite game by him against a small team.He needs to pick up his game.

MATCH ANALYSIS: Real Madrid 3-1 Las Palmas


Real Madrid played its 10th match of the season in the Spanish Primera Division and easily got better of the newly promoted Las Palmas side.The good thing is that we got past Las Palmas without Ramos,Pepe,Benzema,Bale,James and Keylor Navas and still didn't suffer throughout the 90 mins.Infact Real Madrid played really well.

DEFENCE:
We played w/o Keylor Navas and Ramos/Pepe tonight and conceded our first goal of the season at home.But it really doesn't matter as long as Real Madrid keeps winning points since La Liga is not decided on GD if 2 teams have same number of points.But that doesn't mean that we keep conceding,A strong defense can ensure the La Liga title to us this season, Its Ok to conceded if you are playing w/o 2 of the most important guys who organise the defense of your team.And lack of organization was clear in the goal that we conceded today.There was a gap b/w Varane and Nacho and Casilla was unlucky that the ball just went in after hitting the woodwork.Casilla was good throughout the game otherwise,so were Varane and Nacho.But Danilo impressed me very much, he is more conservative as compared to Carvajal while going forward but his contributions are always worth noticing.He doesn't easily let the opposing wingers get past him.

MIDFIELD:
Kroos-Casemiro and Modric were good enough to shut the doors for a 5 man midfield of Las Palmas as well as creating enough chances for the front 3 of Real Madrid.Modric was subbed off after HT to ease him as he was coming after an injury and Real Madrid has to play PSG after 3 days.Casemiro is magnificent with his hold up play and is transforming into a real warrior for Rafa Benitez in the midfield.

ATTACK:
Ronaldo started upfront as a lone striker with Jese and Isco flanking him.Isco opened the scoring with a sublime finish.Ronaldo scored the second goal by a cool header,making sure that he has now scored against every Spanish side he has played against in the top flight.Jese scored an important goal after Real Madrid had conceded and put the game to bed as early as the 44th minute.Isco and Jese played really well on the wings and owned the opposing full backs.Ronaldo is getting better from the past few games but now every attacking move of Real Madrid doesn't go through him which accounts for a decrease in his goals scored.He was wrongly called offside on 2 very good goalscoring chances and was denied a penalty. What I found interesting today in attack was that Isco n Jese kept switching the flanks and didn't allow their full backs to settle .Lucas Vasquez played well after coming back on too and created some chances too.
Real Madrid slowed the tempo of the game in the second half probably to save some energy for the UCL game next week.But most importantly 3 more points secured today and Real Madrid stays on top of the Liga Table.


Now all eyes set on the match against PSG on 4th November.The only 2 teams in Europe that are left undefeated.
