The Croatian player has the golden opportunity to convince Zidane and Real Madrid of their continuity. He could leave in the summer but if he meets PSG and without Modric he will take a step forward. The French team arrive with desire and the Gallic front will be put to the test.
His future, credibility and the title of being the official heir of Modric are up. The Croatian is touched and pressing him to arrive could be a complication in the face of a possible Champions League pass . Kovacic is not sure of his continuity in Madrid and it is practically assumed that he will occupy the midfield with Kroos and Casemiro.
The Croatian is one of the players who will play in Paris. Kroos could make the appointment against PSG but Modric is a serious doubt . His injury could get worse if he forces to reach the tie next Tuesday and increase the problem of his absence. Therefore, Kovacic has half ownership in their hands. It is the easiest relief for Modric and, thus, it would show that it is also for a future.
The Croatian is not counting on many minutes in the Champions League. Neither this course nor the previous two has managed to have a continuity in the best competition at the club level. Although with Zidane he has played more minutes and games than with anyone, the road to achieve the 'Orejona' does not give him an opportunity to appear. Official | LaLiga is set to use the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) system from next season.
