While in Miami as part of their pre-season preparations, Real Madrid have opened their first ever cafe in the city.

The event was attended by the mayor of Miami-Dade County, Carlos Gimenez, as well as squad members, including Sergio Ramos, Raphael Varane, Jesus Vallejo, Marcelo, Dani Carvajal, Casemiro and Kiko Casilla.

It is the first in a planned chain that will pop up across both the USA and Mexico.

Usitumie nguvu kubwa kumuelewesha mtu ambae hataki kuelewa, achana nae!

Baada ya game mwambie ajaribu kufatilia comments za kocha na wachezaji labda ndo ataelewa nin unamaanisha

Zinedine Zidane told reporters in the press conference:

“We are here to do the best possible. We are prepared. This is our third game and we want to grow physically. The players are getting better each day and we are ready. We want to prepare for the season and be ready for the 8th. We love being here, there are many Real Madrid fans here who are happy to see the players.”

Squad

“I am very happy. We have the best players. We have already won here this year and want to repeat that. The squad is great and I don't want to change anyone. Everyone is here minus our number 7, Cristiano Ronaldo. It will be a tough year, everyone wants to beat us, but that makes it better for us."

Preseason

"We are really happy. The organization has been phenomenal and we've been warmly received. We hve time to do what we want out on the pitch. The climate is different here but other than that we're happy with everything so far."

Neymar

“Neymar is a great player, but I don't know what will happen. Barcelona are our most important rivals and it will be a great game for the fans. we want to do well. We were not happy with the result the other day so we will try to win this time round."

Cristiano Ronaldo

“He is on holidays and should make the most of that. We are ready to play and on the 5th Cristiano will be with us to start the season."

Focus

“Tomorrow we will try to keep our focus from minute 1 to 90. In football, it all comes down to details. The other day we were content, but with the way we played and not the result. We were poor with dead balls and we need to improve that little by little."

MARCA very confident that Mbappé will be a Real Madrid player despite Monaco Vice-President Vasilyev denying agreement with Real Madrid.

They do sound pretty confident about it. And I believe Real Madrid will make that signing sooner than later, and we won't face much fuss coz PSG are about to trigger Neymar's clause sometimes next week.

So far, Marca have been on point with our signings. They predicted Vallejo and Ceballos 2 years back. They also predicted Theo.

Raul: The market will set Mbappe's price

With an El Clasico just around the corner and starting a new stage in the club of his life - this time off the pitch - Raul is optimistic about the new season, particularly if Real Madrid sign Kylian Mbappe, who's purchase price will be set by what else happens in this summer's transfer market.

The former striker is convinced that the current project is going to be the best in the history of the club and now, finally, he is part of it.

He still had time to demonstrate his social commitment to the Laureus Foundation, from where he spoke with MARCA in the heart of the Cuban neighbourhood of Miami.

Madrid reach El Clasico after a hard defeat to Manchester City. It's still early, but what feelings do you have about this season?

"At the moment the team have been training for ten days, so it's still very soon. It is clear that you never like to lose but City came more prepared and had already played more games. They were superior. But the important thing was that the players already started to have minutes, especially the U21 guys."

The Super Cup with Mourinho, who knows you so well...what type of match do you expect?

"We all know Mourinho and Manchester United also have great players. These are the first weeks of a season when we all have high expectations. That match will be complicated because the pace of competition will be different than usual, but it's going to be a great show. "

Mbappe is one of the names on the market. Is he worth 180 million?

"The market will set the price. There has to be an agreement between several parties and that will define it. Real Madrid have great players but it is clear that until August 31, anything can happen. For now you have to focus on those who are here and we'll see what happens."

Someone that will certainly be around is Zidane ...

"He is a great coach, with great values. Winning two Champions Leagues ... he is certainly demonstrating his ability. He's not very experienced but there are some who do not need it to prove what they are worth. The players are happy with him, he has managed to handle a great team, giving minutes to everyone and making them feel important. A historic double has been achieved, something that only the top coaches manage."

This summer has seen the arrival of Ceballos, the return of Llorente, Vallejo ... do you like the new policy of the club to bet on younger Spanish players?

"Madrid must have the best and these footballers are from a generation that almost won the European U21 Championship recently. They have excelled in their clubs and have a great future projection. I think it's a very good policy. Let's try to make Vallejo fit in quickly because I think he can do a great job."

Another summer of doubts with Cristiano ...

"He is a very important footballer, the top scorer in our history. His performance has been incredible. He is a symbol of the club, has had many seasons here and has been very important in Real winning titles. He is loved by the fans and the club is looking after him. Right now he needs to rest because he had a long season."

With the departure of Morata, should Madrid sign another striker?

"Morata was a very important player for the club and for the team. He scored a lot of goals but now he's at Chelsea. We'll see what there may be on the market, but I think we already have world-class strikers who can score goals."

Real Madrid suffered a heavy defeat in their second friendly of the pre-season againstManchester City, and while the technical staff are not overly worried by that at this stage of the team's preparations, Zidane is aware that several issues need to be sorted well in advance of the UEFA Super Cup final against Manchester United on 8 August.

The defence
The team's defending is Zidane's biggest concern as it is a problem which reared its head at numerous points last season. Keylor Navas has been playing at a high level since the players returned to work but the team is looking vulnerable and disorganized at the back. Conceding five goals in two games, even at this level, to way too much. The team has noticed Ramos' absence - the captain still has not played due to an ear infection. Identifying the problem areas in defence and putting them right will be one of Zidane's tasks during the next week.

Low goal count
Madrid are conceding too many and not scoring enough. They've managed just two goals in their two outings and both of them were scored by midfielders - one from the penalty spot (Casemiro against Man United); the other, a long-range strike from Óscar against City. The team isn't advancing into opponents' penalty areas as often as usual and is creating fewer attempts on goal. That's normal at this stage of the pre-season and Cristiano's absence is also a factor to bear in mind, but there will be no excuses if the Madrid are still lacking punching power when they contest the first piece of silverware of the season in Skopje.

1501326744_632408_1501334045_sumario_normal.jpg

Gareth Bale
The Welsh winger has looked a little out of sorts and disconnected from the rest of the team in the first two friendlies. There have been glimpses of his enormous quality, but he is far off looking like the kind of commanding figure who leads the team when Cristiano isn't around. Bale is an explosive player, whose physical strength is a quality which the team relies on, and so Zidane will be hoping to see him back at his best before the United game.

1501326744_632408_1501334113_sumario_normal.jpg

Madrid in general lack spark
This is an area which is of least worry for the coaching staff and something which they are confident will be resolved in time. Antonio Pintus has put the players through a gruelling fitness programme since the start of the pre-season and while that will yield results in the long term, in the short term, legs are still heavy and muscles yet to be fully toned. The demanding workouts the squad have been put through have caused fatigue and that has been evident in the team's performances so far. The team's, one-touch triangular passing is neither sharp nor accurate - but that will come. Those are the qualities which have marked the difference between Madrid and their rivals but they have yet to surface. It's something the technical can build on in next week's training sessions as workouts shift from cardiovascular and muscle-toning exercises to ones focused on ballwork.

Tactics
Zidane and his coaching team will be working on the tactical side of the team's game after the third test of the summer against Barcelona in Miami. Again, tactical issues are not a priority at this stage although psychologically, a run of wins during the pre-season does tend to breed confident. The objective of the first two game was to regain rhythm. El Clásico against Barça will be another demanding test for Madridand a good barometer to gauge what level the team is at ahead of the Super Cup.
