With El Classico looming today, only one person who will be responsible for all the decisions that will go into the game, Referee Alejandro Hernandez. Hernandez was the referee in the previous El Classico where Zidane and his boys won 2-1. He is again in charge to be making crucial decisions which can potentially change the game in today's El Classico match. Hernandez hopes to not commit the same mistakes and has said how "No referee has a perfect game, and that we hope to learn from our past mistakes." In the past 5 seasons Hernandez has sent off a Real Madrid player 2 times and has given a yellow to a Real Madrid player 25 times! Compared to Barcelona, he has given 18 yellow cards and 0 red cards against Barcelona. He has actually sent off players of 2 teams playing against Barcelona, which were Real Madrid and Valencia respectively. His most booked player amongst the two teams has been Sergio Ramos with 5 yellow cards and 1 red card. This season specifically Alejandro has given 97 yellow cards and 5 red cards. It's going to be a very tight and close game and the referee could potentially have a lot to do with it as well.
