Zidane said in his press that La Liga is a priority for Real Madrid and we have shown today. From first minute till the last second, we were determined and focused.

We have defeated Sociedad with a complete performance at their home ground without Navas, Pepe, Modric, Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema by keeping Isco and James on the bench. It means that we have a complete squad.

LA LIGA

REAL SOCIEDAD VS REAL MADRID (0-3)

It was our first la liga match of the season and it was one full of history. Going away to Anoeta is no easy fixture even if you're Real Madrid. We played without most of our first team players but honestly, everyone who played today, deserves to wear the White shirt. ABSOLUTELY RESOUNDING PERFORMANCE.

Let's start with

DEFENCE

Kiko Casilla replaced the injured Keylor Navas and did not concede or disappoint. In a hotly contested match, he made a few saves but a crucial one which he cleared when Real Sociedad looked to equalise.
Our back 4 were our motivation for attack again today. They scored most of our goals in preseason and today, literally from the very start assisted in the goals. Dani Carvajal and Raphaël Varane had assists today for Gareth Bale's goal and Marco Asensio's . We can't really expect more from the defenders. Sergio Ramos usually makes the risky tackles and he did today too and they were very crucial. The game could have turned had he given the attackers any space at all. Pepe will bring more to the team but i can't say we miss him right now.

MIDFIELD

So we didn't have Luka Modrić but the midfield was sound and the chemistry was good. Casemiro is definitely the most underrated player in our team. I cannot praise him enough. He has saved this team time and time again and yaaaaaaaaaar boy tou legend banayga in this shirt. A gem we have. Mateo Kovačić is staying and today i could see why. He looked more and more mature as he got more minutes. Toni Kroos, ka kia boloun. He's literally born to play in midfield. Tell your kids about the beautiful player that we all get to witness every match. Isco Alarcón and James Rodriguez came on to finish out all chances of a comeback and JAMES provided the assist for Bale's second. Good good ball.

ATTACK

We didn't have Karim Benzema, we didnt have Cristiano Ronaldo but from the first minute, we had GARETH BALE. He's becoming a main-man more and more now and we highlighted that on the page yesterday. Two good good goals, but i must highlight his tracking back. He is playing for the crest on the shirt. Guaranteed. Alvaro Morata is improving. He looked confident, he made some beautiful runs and with sharpness, he's going to be good upfront to say the least. What can i say about someone who's been labelled the best young talent in spain, the world? ITS ABSOLUTELY SPOT ON. Marcos Asensio is the REAL DEAL. He scored a stunner in the super cup and today he scored a sublime chip on his league debut. Hes staying for a long long time. Trust me. Lucas Vasquez came on for a cameo and played his part especially in the end if you know what i mean xD

Summary

A very good start to la liga. We won an away fixture and kept a clean sheet. 3-0 at anoeta. No joke. The youngsters believed and it showed!
