Ninyi ndio mnao haribu watoto kabisa na haya mambo ya kujidai ya ulaya. wewe unaona mwanafunzi akiichapwa ni kosa sasa kipi bora achapwe au apewe kisiki kung'oa? mnataka watoto wawe wanafanya ngono hadi madarasani kama uko ulaya ndo mtakapo furah. Acheni kuiga mambo yanayoharibu maadili. mm ni mwalim na huwa nachapa sana tu pale mwanafunzi anapokosea tena sina huruma kama naia ni kumjenga.

Mtu hasahau na ilikuwa kama sikubeba nitaomba kwa rafiki yangu as long as I get the job done, so what the heck with viboko...simply ulikuwa uonevu, mtoto wa darasa la pili au la tatu how can you hold responsible.

Huu ni uonevu, mimi binafsi sitegemei mwalimu anifunzie mwanangu nidhamu, if he has a role its only 10% sababu nidhamu haifunzwi na kumdhalilisha mtu.

Interesting video, one pupil caning another, being urged on by the teacher. The torn trousers are not from the frequest caning these pupils get but from poverty in which they grow up in. For morale the teacher should have administered the caning and not a fellow pupil, ever if the latter were a prefect. In any case the caning seems to be hard and even the tucket-in shirt does not seem to offer any relief to the victim other than giving a good outline for the punisher to aim well into the rump. It is generally acepted in East Africa that caning on the buttocks regularly is good upbringing, however if it is very frequent as is the case in many rural african primary schools then it stops being a deterrent. Domestic caning is usually acompanied with wailing and the number of strokes can go up to 25. In fact a lot of children wail in an attempt to cut down the number of strokes and severity of a well deserved punishment. As much as I support caning of school children for general discipline purposes, I think we in East Africa are at apoint whereby we must ban school caning all together. I know this will deprive the already frustated teachers of a way to vent their frustrations of difficult life on the buttocks of african school boys, but as we get more civilised we must understand that violence only reciprocates violence. The caned pupils will cane their children who will cane theirs in turn and so forth. In fact I believe that the form of punishment whereby a stick is used to strike the buttocks repeatedly to induce pain/punish is not an original African idea, the Germans introduced it to Tanganyika, Belgians to the Congo, the British to Kenya/Uganda etc. As a remant of colonialism we need to overcome our desire to have the nates/clunes our own younger kind violently beaten, in the name of discipline.
