KAMPALA - Medics at Mulago hospital were left dumbfounded when a child was born with five legs.
The parents of the four-day-old baby (their fifth-born) Benefanco Okongo and Margaret Awino, are financial stranded as their child is in need of surgery.
They are from Nabijingo village, Bulinda sub-county, Tororo district.
The shocked parents who are stranded at Mulago already have five children back home. Okongo says he does not know how the children will cope alone at home.
Scola Mukimba, who is the deputy in-charge of Ward 2C at the health facility, says the child is in good condition.
The desperate parents are appealing for assistance and call on to anyone who wishes to help in any way to contact them on 0787971524.
