We have held our final campaign rally at Karambi grounds, Mpondwe Lhubiriha Town Council in Bwera town, Kasese District where we were massively received by our enthusiastic supporters.

Our message was centered around corruption, insecurity, poverty and misplaced priorities whereby the regime prefers to invest in guns yet our hospitals lack medicine. We also spoke about the dire state of the Mpondwe-DRC highway which is supposed to enable cross-border trade. The road is filled with pot holes and its tarmac is totally wasted. As a border town, Bwera is significant for cross-border trade between Uganda and the DRC but this can be swiftly achieved once the roads are in a better state. In our NEW UGANDA which we are building, we shall prioritize the well being of the population and put in place avenues that can boost their livelihood. Thank you Kasese. Mwasinja Kutsibu!

At Kalaki Primary School playground in Pallisa, we kicked off our first rally of the day. Bukedi has spoken. Loudly. Clearly.

On our way to Wiggins Playground in Kumi for the second rally, police mounted a barricade to block us from a duly scheduled venue. It failed. The people stood firm, the crowd showed up, and we spoke to the masses anyway. That is what people power looks like.
