Kuna mtu kanirushia hii email: Logically this is possible, sina uhakika kama Polisi wetu hapa wamewahi kuwaza hii mbinu inayoutumiwa na Polisi wa Kenya ila ni shida kidogo pale ambapo vocha iliyomo ndani ya eneo la tukio mfano ndani ya gari inakuwa sioDear all,

    Kindly note
there is a new technique used by robbers and carjackers to escape from arrest.
They collect used scratch cards and leave them at the scene where they abandon
stolen cars and other items if being trailed by the police or where they dump
dead bodies. The police use the scratch card serial numbers to track the phone
number it was loaded . Two people have fallen victim and are in Kamiti Maximum
    Prison, Kenya.

    Ensure you
destroy used scratch cards before you dispose them to avoid such

    information with your friends.

mkuu, prior to previous arrest, and suspicious activity on your side, the police would have a hard time pinning on you a crime based solely on scratch cards that you've previously used. if they can track vocha iliyotumika to your phone, then they sure as hell can tell where you were using your phone at said time (a phone is always in relay with surrounding minara to ensure the strongest signals), na still hata if they can prove you were near the crime scene at said time, it wouldnt make enough of a case
those two fellas in prison have a deeper relation to the crime than scratch cards (my guess is they were actually involved and got pinned by theirfellow thugs, or are rival gangsters and got framed for the job), lakini for the average guy to get arrested let alone convicted on vocha only? PREPOSTEROUS!!

Prepaid phones? ... one of the weakest physical evidences, a smart cop/judge will never rely on prepaid phones for evidence against a serious crime.
Wanawapata wanasiasa wa bongo tu, kwenye phone cards labda uangalie fingerprints au DNA if any.
