I would like to announce the launch of a new course for Swahili speakers to learn basic English.
Its name is Kiingereza - Hatua kwa Hatua.
I'm the author of this course and I feel that it has the potential to have a very positive impact on education in Tanzania, in particular by providing a bridge between Swahili-medium primary education and English-medium secondary education.
At present, it is only available as an app for Android, but we hope to make it available in other forms over the course of the year (2024). It doesn't seem possible to post a link here so please find it on the PlayStore or via any search engine by typing Kiingereza - Hatua kwa Hatua. We will post more information on this thread over the coming weeks.
A thread will be started in Swahili elsewhere on Jamii Forums. We hope you will find this useful and if you have any questions at all about the course, I will answer them here.
