Position: Business Development Manager

Reporting to: General Manager dotted line to Chief Commercial Officer

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee entire sales of GSM Home Products countrywide channeled to Key Accounts
  • Understand requirements and champion bidding process to win tenders from variousinstitutions
  • Strategic sales and market approach to acquire new clients
  • Managing and retaining relationships with existing clients
  • carrying out necessary planning in order to implement operational changes
  • Control sales collection & keep the outstanding within the required Limit
  • Research and identify new business opportunities -including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products and services -or new ways of reaching existing markets

Minimum experience required by the position
  • Advanced Diploma or Degree in Commerce or Business Management/Administration
  • Corporate work environment acumen
  • At least 5 years in furniture trading industry
  • Excellent understanding of the Global, Regional business dynamics
  • Good technical, marketing and business development abilities
  • Strong strategic, Creative,and innovative thinking
  • Strong interpersonal communication, networking and influencing skills
