Museveni-A disgrace to East African's?

Tukihoji kwa nini viongozi wengine kwenye shirkisho wanang'ang'ania madaraka tunaonekana tunajiingiza kwenye maswala ya ndani ya nchi zingine, alafu watu hao hao ndio wanataka tufast track muungano wa nchi za Afrika Mashariki. Safari ni ndefu kweli kweli.

Icadon,

I like what you have said. Ukweli ni kwamba if we have to bring this
so called federation together then it is only prudent that we understand
the thinking of our partners. In that regard basi nd'o unakut tunahoji
Isije
ikawa when the federation is formed watakua na tendencies hizi hizi
za kungangania madaraka.

All we are doing is just being wary of our partners.

Regards.

Museveni: Island is Kenya’s, but water is ours

It is now official: Uganda has conceded the controversial Migingo Island is in Kenya.
Speaking in Tanzania, Uganda’s President Yoweri Museveni claimed the waters, but said "the island was in Kenya".

In an interview with the BBC, Museveni said: "The island is in Kenya and the waters are in Buganda (Uganda). So what do we do now? The Wajaluos are mad. What is the issue here?" he asked and dismissed the dispute as a Luo, not a Kenyan issue.
Museveni’s outbursts attracted the wrath of MPs who asked for an apology and wanted to know the fate of the Joint Boundary Mission that was launched on Monday to demarcate the area.

Discuss issue
Museveni went on to say: "The boundary continues on a straight line south-westerly to the most northerly point of Sumba island. Mpaka inasunguka kisiwa. (The boundary revolves round the island.) One foot into the water is in Uganda. So I have been telling those Jaluos who have been rioting and wanang’oa reli (uprooting the railway line) that I want to go and discuss this with them."

Museveni sent warned fishermen: "If we implement this (claim the waters), hakuna mjaluo ataenda kuvua samaki huko (No Luo will fish there)."

The Ugandan leader was in Tanzania to give a keynote speech at the University of Dar es Salaam.

Last month, a delegation of Ugandan ministers was in Nairobi for consultations with Foreign Affairs Minister Moses Wetangula over the disputed island. In February, at an African Union Heads of State summit, Museveni held talks with President Kibaki over the issue. The two struck a deal to resolve the dispute in Arusha on the sidelines of the East Africa Community Heads of States Summit.
MPs reaction

Immediately, Museveni made the remarks, Nyanza MPs hit out at him. Mr Polyns Ochieng (Nyakach), Mr Fred Outa (Nyando), Mr Edick Anyanga (Nyatike), Mr Nicholas Gumbo (Rarieda), Mr John Pesa (Migori) and Mr Oyugi Magwanga (Kasipul-Kabondo) termed the remarks careless.

"It is embarrassing for Museveni to talk so carelessly when he knows it hurts the spirit of co-operation," said Anyanga.

He said the island belongs to Kenya and told Museveni to wait for the results of a joint survey.

The survey is expected to take about two months and cost the two countries Sh140 million.

Speaking at Parliament Buildings, the MPs said the dispute was not a Luo affair, but a Kenyan matter.

"Museveni should stop belittling the community by saying the issue was a Luo affair," said Gumbo.

Gumbo claimed senior Government officials did not have the enthusiasm to defend Kenya’s sovereignty, and took the Migingo issue lightly.

Wakuu,

this is the most crass statement that this fool made all day.Yaani
anapeleka hii ishu kua ya ukabila.Nashangaa haya mawazo anayatoa
wapi...hhmmmmm? Why make this issue a Luo Vs Uganda issue?Je
ana habari kuna wajaluo wangapi in the whole of EA? Tetesi ni kwamba
after the rise of Raila prominence in Kenyan politics huyu jamaa ka-panic
kiaina because Raila atawahamasihsa wajaluo walioko Uganda kumpinga

msaada wa askari kuingia Kisumu and the greater Nyanza just to
kill Luos.
Kweli EA tuna
kazi na huu muungano wanaopigania hautafaulu with leaders like M7 na
Kibaki in power.

This guy is keen to mess everybody around him.All what he understands is war, war, war. He started with DRC,he lost,he went to Rwanda he lost,he tried South Sudan he lost,Joseph Kony came up----pia amepoteza. He tried Moi claiming Malaba town was in Uganda.....When Kenya came up guns blazing ans sensing imminent lose....he backed down.
He is now up against Migingo......and this time.....he has gotten a sleeping dog in Office(Kibaki).........but he is forgetting about one thing.....The Kenya People act like comrades themselves.......they dont need their Millitary to bring Museveni down........they know what they call economic sabotage.Uganda's 80 per cent of all imports come through Kenya.......and in Kibera....the Railway Line has been uprooted........they will be clossing Busia border early next week.

Are we ready for the East African federation with the current leadership?

"The productive margin in our government's serach for revenue does not lie in the domestic economy, it lies with the international donors".

Viewer discretion advised.

Watch this and tell me if EAC has a chance?! the images are disturbing. I have said it before we need to clean house before this federation.

We need young dynamic leaders, not old tired wazee who've expired... passed their sell by dates. As in shelf life. Just like expired goods they are toxic!!! Kibaki, Museveni.

You see there was a thread a while back from one JF member who said Kibaki should go. There was a swam of some other East Africans saying tunaingilia otherr countries. The question is how is it interfering if these people are rushing us to join them? Slowly and surely Tanzanians are getting the facts as to why we don't want this so called federation. WE CAN'T UNITE WITH PEOPLE WHO ARE FIGHTING OVER A LAND WHICH WILL BE EVERYBODIES ANY WAY IF THET GO THROUGH WITH THERE UNION. MR. M7 WON'T MIGINGO BE PART OF UGANDA ANYWAY AFTER THE "FEDERATION?".

I THINK TANZANIA SHOULD JUST SIT BACK & LET OUR NEIGHBORS SHOW US AN EXAMPLE OF HOW THE "FEDERATION" WILL WORK. I GUARANTEE YOU HIZI KELELE TU ZA OLD DICTATORS & AUTHORITARIANS, ONCE THEY ARE GONE THE WHOLE IDEA FOR A FEDERATION WILL DIE.
