87 min: Manchester United caught Arsenal with a perfect counter-attack. With Arsenal’s players surging forward in search of an equaliser, the ball was played to Angel Di Maria on the halfway line. He drew the only defender, playing the ball to Rooney who galloped 40 yards or more, before lifting the ball over Martinez and watching it bounce into the empty goal. It was a splendid finish.
