I beg to differ.
Maghufuli's government is run by its Treasury. The Treasury (Ministry of Finance) is under Dr. Mpango, the only cabinet Minister that can elbow his way into the legislature to fulfil his Scandinavian - style, macro-economic policies.
Maghufuli's government is far from EFF. The mining and extractive industries policies introduced and subsequently passed by his administration and The legislature respectively do not reflect the EFF's ambition of indigenization, contrary to the popular belief disseminated by both foreign investors and short-sighted local politicians. The policy does not in any way improve the access to "Capital" to the indigenous population rather than cementing the role of small-scale miners as owners of small mines.
I am actually a big fan of his economic policies. They are simply what I have seen in most successful countries in this planet and I can even go further and say, they are the policies followed by the most successful individuals in this planet. Simply put, they are earn more and save more policies. Get as much taxes and save from unnecessary luxuries.
That EFF thang is just another way of creating a "burguosie" class on the back of public treasures and has been the central policies of the Mteis, Mbowes, Mengis, Iddi Simba and the likes. Always trying to equate economic indigenization with social democracy.
I support a strong government which represents the mass in negotiating the terms of exploitation with the ultimate goal of acquiring a sustainably enough chunk of the economy to finance the social welfare of the mass while optimizing the benefits of individual entrepreneurship.
He is the man we need, only we can fine-tune the legislature which has shown lack of intellectual capabilities and demonstrated vehemently, partisan politics.
