It is shameful that the likes of Shibuda and his former house of political refuge CCM are still strong enough and can unashamedly stand out to cry desperately for posho as if they went to parliament for just one single self agenda of enriching themselves at the expense of the voters. It sickens me to death until I am further made to believe that most MPs, if not all, go to parliament with a single motive of finding food for their families besides sleeping in parliament while the House business is in progress.

On several occasions senior ministers, opposition leaders have been caught on camera literary sleeping themselves out maybe as they wait for posho while their electorates go to school without teachers. Their voters' children go to schools without desks yet the MP's struggle for posho. Too shameful and ugly face of an issue! Maybe it is a rational thought of the now perceived gluttons in parliament who believe the legislative house cannot continue without posho yet their voters go without teachers, medicine not to mention books and desks.
Well, as much as every one of us has a right to vie for any political office least say party power as longs you fit the relevant suit of leadership but I have a number of concerns as to why I call the likes of Shibuda lone rangers in a deserted jungle of thought and reason under the arms of a misplaced thirst for power greased with the super egoism of opportunism.

On May the 13th last year, Shibuda declared somewhere in Mwanza his decision to engage President Kikwete in a war for the State House journey. I must say it was a brave step on Shibuda's part but it lacked consistency and congruency and therefore I call it an act of opportunism that was ostensibly used by Shibuda to call for the public eye brows.

On the 5th of June Shibuda dropped his bid for presidency just less than a month later. Why was the decision of sudden u-turn if Shibuda had well consulted his inner intelligence and keenness? I must say Shibuda is not a keen politician as he wants the gullible to believe rather a momentous political bubble. Shibuda's thought for presidential rush zero fetched and petty thought as it showed that he had been desperately calling for public and the State CEO's attention when he made it very clear after twenty two days later that he was dropping his thirst for the journey to the State House.

"I have neither been invited by the president, who is the party chairman nor the party's disciplinary committee at any level……I would like to stress that this is an independent decision," Shibuda coughed out.

CCM were very wise to have not bothered the lone ranger until he drank his own spit to kick aside his so-called presidential race. CCM rejected his shoddy thought and Chadema should do just as CCM did.

Such sudden U-turn made by Shibuda defined him far much better as a politician who lacked consistency and congruency and in that nature Shibuda displayed himself as a shoddy crowd caller desperate for nothing but sympathy of the season, a character long built in Shibuda brooded by his super egoist manners of the Swahili street life.

CCM were wise to have let Shibuda loose to the jungle though he was lucky to have found an oasis but definitely he will not stay in his current paradiso not as a matter of my rhetoric but as a matter of fact. During Shibuda's speech that he ostensibly gave to announce his sudden U-turn of dropping off the presidential bid, he said that the main reason why he decided to drop off the presidential ladder was because he felt President Kikwete had done well and therefore it was wise to let him continue.

The question is whether Shibuda was taking his electorates for feeling atonement ride or he was playing his hide-and-seek game. Shibuda had not assessed the president's performance in five years but was able to see it in twenty two days. What a petty joke Shibuda!

Politicians like Shibuda are exploiting the vibrant available opportunity of easily swayed electorates or just the general wananchi most of whom are not informed. Shibuda must know it well that there are however, a voluminous intellectual Tanzanians who can afford to read in between the lines and access his consequential self-centred rapturous manners.

I don't really think if the likes of Shibuda can survive a political environment where the whole setup of electorates is an informed people or to be precise a people who are schooled just at least to tell the difference between chuffs and grains.

It is utterly shameful that Shibuda can afford to stand flag post high defending the posho drama and to make it even worse call for even a bigger increment at a time his own electorates are in dire need and wallowing under the torrents of poverty. Shibuda must know that those Chadema guys who have rejected posho are not wholly well off as not to need money but rather they have opted for politics of principle. Shibuda do you know politics of principle?

I had so much wanted to give Shibuda some six principles of political realism but I will have an opportunity to handle only political realism.
In Political realism, there is a belief that politics, like society in general, is governed by objective laws that have their roots in human nature. In order to improve society it is first necessary to understand the laws by which society lives.

The operation of these laws being impervious to our preferences, men will challenge them only at the risk of failure as in the case of Shibuda who is now challenging his party's decision on posho rejection.

Realism in that sense is believing as it does in the objectivity of the laws of politics, must also believe in the possibility of developing a rational theory that reflects, however imperfectly and one-sidedly, these objective laws.

It believes also, then, in the possibility of distinguishing in politics between truth and opinion between what is true objectively and rationally, supported by evidence and illuminated by reason, and what is only a subjective judgment, divorced from the facts as they are and informed by prejudice and wishful thinking.

Shibuda and his likes should know that human nature, in which the laws of politics have their roots, has not changed since the classical philosophies of China, India, and Greece endeavored to discover these laws. Hence, novelty is not necessarily a virtue in political theory, nor is old age a defect. The fact that a theory of politics, if there be such a theory, has never been heard of before tends to create a presumption against, rather than in favor of, its soundness.

Conversely, the fact that a theory of politics was developed hundreds or even thousands of years ago was the theories of the balance of power – does not create a presumption that it must be outmoded and obsolete. A theory of politics must be subjected to the dual test of reason and experience.

Shibuda must therefore know that to dismiss such a theory like of Zitto on posho because it had its flowering in times past to present is not a rational argument but a modernistic prejudice that takes for granted the superiority of the present over the past. To dispose of the revival of such a theory as a "fashion" or "fad" is tantamount to assuming that in political matters we can have opinions but no truths to Shibuda and his senior likes flamboyantly cough off on posho.

For realism, theory consists in ascertaining facts and giving them meaning through reason. It assumes that the character of a foreign policy can be ascertained only through the examination of the political acts performed and of the foreseeable consequences of these acts. Thus we can find out what statesmen have actually done, and from the foreseeable consequences of their acts we can surmise what their objectives might have been. Lenin would not do what PM, his party and Shibuda are now greedily crying for.

Yet examination of the facts is not enough. To give meaning to the factual raw material of foreign policy, we must approach political reality with a kind of rational outline as to focus at ordinary voters and their children, a map that suggests to us the possible meanings of foreign policy.

In other words, we put ourselves in the position of a statesman who must meet a certain problem of foreign policy under certain circumstances, and we ask ourselves what the rational alternatives are from which a statesman may choose who must meet this problem under these circumstances (presuming always that he acts in a rational manner), and which of these rational alternatives this particular statesman, acting under these circumstances, is likely to choose.
It is the testing of this rational hypothesis against the actual facts and their consequences that gives theoretical meaning to the facts of international politics.
