Glad to announce version 2 of Alpha series of Kasuku Player. Not very fancy yet but going there. Some goodies:
  1. In addition to Import directory you can open files
  2. You can scan directory to add media in subdirectories
  3. Full Screen hovering control (Press left mouse button in full screen mode and see the magic. Press again to see it go)
  4. Escape key to quit Full Screen mode
  5. Drag files and drop in the playlist
  6. Fixed previous bugs (quit, bitmap missing et al)
  7. Nice wall paper when no video
  8. .................

If you have suggestion or anything you are welcome!

Get the file here and enjoy "Kasuku sweet sound...."

Can someone test the Youtube Streaming (Media-->Open Location) and see if its working fine?

Yeah, if time allows. I have six weeks before my semester ends so things are pretty tight now, and given the product is in alpha release now in six weeks it may be in release candidate or done. But I really wanna take part in this or any other open-source projects you have.

I do it mostly in force spare time (I really have no such a thing as spare time). You may find it still in beta stage or so.
I'm currently only developer with one artist on board. So I believe you will be of great help. You need only to study C++ and wxWidgets.
 
CTO I still cant configure Codelite + xwidgets and other staffs .... environmental variable!!! nothing z working... so nadhan ntakutafuta ili unisaidie kufanya installation...

Great, I'm a developer too(still in school), I already know C++ ingawa situmii sana, In my spare time huwa nafanya android and iOS development kidogo, take part in contests, and looking around in launchpad if there's anything interesting to take part in, I have solid programming skills ila VERY poor design skills, it's great that you have an artist with you.

I'll surely take a look at wxWidgets, I've never come across it before.

sio theme, ni vitu ambavyo kuhusu alpha2,
1. inastart window iko maximized,
2. picha iko resizable inafanya itokee vibaya unapobadili modes,
3. haiaccept many file extensions,
4. zinakuja
