Hasheem Lundenga ndiye mratibu mkuu wa mashindano ya Miss Tanzania. Yohana Mashaka ni mwanaharakati mtanzania anayeishi huko marekani. Ni kijana kadogo tu, ila sijui kwa nini anawapa watu tabu kiasi hiki. anajifanya mzalendo kumbe ni ka mawanasiasa fulani. Hapendi kweli wachina, na itakuwa vizrui serikali ya JK ikampeleka huyu kijana Keko kwa maana mwelekeo wake ni kuwa radical mkubwa sana. atasumbua sana serikali ya JK asipodhibitiwa. Mwanakijiji, I totally agree with you! The guy argumentation is xenophobic and heaps blames upon foreigners, were the foreigners the main stakeholders of miss TZ? The whole thing sounds settling a score!

the issue here in the first place is, why people perished in that vessel? was it just an accident? what about the authorities which they are responsible, among other things, to ensure that the vessel is seaworthiness, carry both passengers and cargo as the capacity of the vessel. is this the first vessel tragedy our country has experienced? are there any similarities in terms of what have mentioned above? what above the rescue mission? could we serve more lives if we had better rescue facilities?

Now our learned brother, John Mashaka has not thought all of the above, to him the most important thing is, who ignored to observed the mourning period, and more specifically, the miss Tanzania event. he is not examining why this happened? why again after MV Bukoba? didn't we learn from the last tragedy? I do remember that during MV Bukoba,the country requested rescue team from SA. Did we ask the South African Government to help us to established a rescue team like the one from SA. Now we have asked them to come again, poor Tanzanians!!!

Now listen to the speeches delivered by our leaders, all of them saying like... naipongeza serikali ya mapinduzi kwa kazi nzuri waliofanya wakati wa maafa haya. Na mwingine anasema tunaipongeza serikali ya muungano na haswa Doctor kwa kuwa nasi. na Doctor JK anasema msiba huu umetuonyesha mshikamano wetu wa bara na visiwani. Jamani maafa na pongezi pamoja, naomba mnisaidie. In other words, we need more tragedies like this one so that our leaders may use them as political plat form. But my schoolar Brother, Mashaka, for him, its all about the Pageant event.

First,when talking about moral decay in our society there are 2 questions you must ask yourself (1) what is the cause? (2) what are the effects? Possibly the answer 1 is the poor raising from their "parents or guardians". Answer 2 is just what you have wrote.

Therefore we are not supposed to condem or blame those orgs. That much. What is just happening is the payment of the price of poor parenting.
The solution is to go back to our ROOTS the period of our ancestors where wisdom prevailed.

Second,It is just a bit correction about what you said about social responsibilty ( corporate social responsibility) this is when the corporate offer social services to the surrounding community. What you meant there was sponsorship i.e an organisation expect something in return and mostly publicity.

I agree with you. One question is this mashaka in Magamba (CCM) or Magwanda (CHADEMA)? because he sounds like a Magwanda type. he is using his intellectual ability to criticize JK government that is working diligently to bring investors like vodacom
