I am a Form Five student at Tambaza High School, studying the PMCs combination (Physics, Mathematics, and Computer Science). My name is Baraka Range. I would like to share my idea with all stakeholders in the technology industry about establishing something called Tantech Association.

This association will help connect young people with various experienced stakeholders in the technology sector. Additionally, young innovators will have the opportunity to showcase their various innovations to these stakeholders to potentially receive different kinds of support.

It is a good idea but sorry ,we do have such kind of an institution in this country already , have you ever heard this word "Costech" before ?
COSTECH was found to fulfill those purposes that you have outlined , unfortunately the outcomes haven't yet aligned with the expectations or visions of the Costech's founders


I think the private sector has a bigger role to play in tech development than the way the government could , go to any tech developed country ,and you are more likely to find tech hub centers in which tech startups , interprenuers and investors ( venture capitalists ) meets and make the ideas into reality eg Shenzhen China and Silicon valley in the US , that is exactly what this country needs .
COSTECH hasn't been effective in doing so .
That's the issue
Tech needs huge capital to develop and bring it into tangible product or service , so capital injection is necessary, and that's when private investors comes in ,they do so after being satisfied with the prospects and potentials that the project idea has .


I think one of the best way to kick start this could be total engagement of colleges and universities , in some sort of inter college or inter university technology innovations exhibitions and competitions in those already pre established tech hubs meanwhile ensuring that prospective foreign and domestic tech investors are invited regularly and fully engaged in those exhibitions and competitions .
Then those prospective tech ideas can be funded by investors in an effort to make them into reality and finally being marketable products or services .

Hongera sana dogo kwa maana umeanza mapema kuumiza kichwa but nataka kujua hii idea yako itakua na utofauti gani na BUNI? Je umepanga uifanye kinamna ipi hasa yaani itakua ya physically au online?

Kama ni physical umepanga uifanye kwa mtindo upi ili uweze kuwakutanisha wabunifu au wavumbuzi na hao mastakeholders.

Na kama ni online tuambie kwa ufupi venye itakua kua then ukimaliza hapo sema sasa sapoti ya upande upi inayohitajika.

Yeah that,is true after you say Costech has not effective doing it's purpose because i have attend many technology events in Dar es salaam especially of Costech and i was one of the student who have project and i establish it in Projects startup that was last year but till today i have not get any answer of my project and if the project was poor why the didnt give me guides on how to improve my project.

At same situation which face me,another one youth can giveup in making their ideas into realitie many youth have ideas which can help our society but the don't know the right place to reach of.

That why i deeply think of create Tantech which will help youth one's to be connected with computer experts in and outside a country so they can get skills and experience on several things,also create way to show their different innovation so that they can get empowerment to develop their projects/innovation

Hii itasaidia kutoa elimu kwa vijana mbalimbali nchini ambayo itasaidia kuongeza idadi ya watu walio na uzoefu kwenye teknolojia.

Kiukweli nilipendelea iwe physical na online lakini kwa sasa napoianz itapendelea nifanye online maana physically itahitaji alot of capital ambayo itachukua muda mwingi kuanza kutafuta misaada kutoka sehemu mbalimbali ...Online kwa kutumia mitandao ya kijamii kama youtube,instagram, vilevile na website vijana wanaweza wakapata elimu juu ya mambo mbalimbali ya kiteknolojia.

Sapoti inayohitajika ni kwa upande wa watu wote wanaowiwa kusaidia kitu hiki kiweze kuwasaidia vijana wengine,Ambapo wanaweza kusaidia vifaa vitavyotumika katika teknolojia hasahasa laptop ambayo itatumika katika maandalizi yote ya mafunzo ambayo ndo muhimu lakini kuna vifaa vingine kama Arduino ambayo itasaidia programming course..na vingine mbalimbali.

Arduino hio itasaidia mafundisho mbalimbali ya programming ,ambayo vijana wanaweza kufanya wenyewe physically,pia mafundisho hayo(tutorials) yanaweza kuchapishwa mtandaoni ambapo wale vijana kidogo wenye uwezo wanaweza kuafford ununuzi wa vifaa hivyo wataweza kutumia mafundisho hayo kujifunza.

Laptop zinahitajika nyingi kwa ajili ya matumizi ya vijana maana kuna vijana wengine hawana uwezo wa kuafford manunuzi ya laptop,,kwahy hizo laptop zitasaidia vijana hao kwenye mafundisho pia kwenye kutumia kuendeleza project zao
