Position: Human Resources Officer
Position: 1
Reporting to: Human Resource Manager.
Department: Human resources & Admin
Location: Arusha, Tanzania

Job Purpose
  • Responsible for various tasks related to managing and organization’s human capital.
  • This includes recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, performance management and ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies.
  • They play a crucial role in fostering a positive work environment and supporting the overall wellbeing of employees.
Specific Responsibilities.
  • Initiate recruitment of staff and make sure all positions are adequately staffed.
  • Conduct reference check and conduct proper on boarding for new entrants.
  • Staffing levels are established and optimized for all units in the company and report the implementation in monthly HRD report.
  • Enforce succession planning across the company by implementing succession plan policy.
  • This is reported monthly in the HR.
    Make sure all employees have updated job description dully signed in their respective files.
  • Make sure all HR data is fully updated in the Human resource information system at all the time.
  • Follow up on the timely renewal of employee contract of employment.
    Prepare staff annual leave plan and supervise the implementation of the same (Permanent staff and AKM staff).
  • Implement administration policy related issue especially in health care.
  • Maintain and supervise security programs at HQ and depots.
  • Make sure all company documents are filed and arranged in professional way. E.g. Staff file and all other HR files.
  • Cross check AKM (casual) weekly payments, check for correctness of the figures and attendance.
Requirements
  • Degree in Human resource management or any other equivalent.
  • Minimum 4 years of professional experience working in a fast-pacing company based on a B2B and B2C.
  • In-depth knowledge of business administration.
  • Intermediate ability in the use of MS Office and HRMIS
  • Strong ability in business analysis, reporting and organization.
  • Excellent Verbal communication skills.
  • Fluent in English and Swahili is a must.
