And today, as we reflect on your life and leadership, we find much to celebrate that fits that verse. Your open appreciation for the Bible, your encouragement of prayer in national life, and your bold witness to Christian values have inspired many. From your unwavering defense of the faith to your strong support for the church and the gospel, from your stand for the unborn to your efforts in upholding justice and truth—these are things we gratefully think upon and give thanks for.

May the Lord continue to bless and strengthen you. May He grant you many more joyful and impactful years, filled with health, wisdom, and peace. And may He reward your stand for righteousness with lasting fruit and divine favor.
