The government through the relevant Ministry and private sector workers.
A plan should be made to review the guidelines of each organization that provides services, especially at the community level. To see how these organizations treat the dignity and right of employment and payment of their employees who are employed in any way.
There are some organizations whose employees travel by water for more than 3-4 hours to provide services in the islands, they do not give them any transport allowance, there is no overtime, legally any employee's business trip is paid for and the recruiters I am talking about are not required to pay for everything for the entire period.those who will be in the islands.
There is no accident insurance, no permanent or temporary employment contractsIf an accident happens, some of the employees will die as criminals and not laborers who are enslaved for work? This will lead to not having the right to pay for the death that can happen to the employee while at work!
My opinion government should make it full up for every international organization that provides services and has hired Tanzanians of various cadres including volunteers and they send a large number to travel to the islands to work there accompanied by a few experts on employment contracts while others even.An identity card that shows who they are, they don't have the rights of Tanzanians.
Governments should stand up and protect them. If there is no law that can protect them, then a law should be made that will protect the rights of everyone who works with the private sector, especially in the health sector.
