What we know
•Museveni’s last verified public physical appearance was on September 17, 2026, when he presided over the groundbreaking of the 320-million-litre Kampala Storage Terminal in Mpigi District.
At the event, Museveni delivered the speech referenced in the Facebook post(last speech), discussing Uganda’s petroleum imports, fuel prices and the need to strengthen strategic fuel reserves. He did not collapse or appear to be rushed to hospital during the event. Watch here.
The claim therefore acknowledges a genuine speech from a real September 17 event and falsely presents it as the speech during which Museveni allegedly collapsed.
