Barabara hii ni mpya, haina hata miaka mitatu!
Lakini kilaa inyeshapo mvua kubwa ,hii ndio hali halisi, na hivi ndo ilivyokuwa leo asubuhi.
Haihitaji kuwa injinia kusema kuwa hapa kuna design failure.

Uwazi uliowekewa kupasisha maji ya mvua ni mdogo mno.
Kazi kwenu TANROADS.
 
Hapo barabara haina tatizo katika kudesign, tatizo ni channel za maji mkuu..... Anyway maengineer wanapaswa kulaumiwa kwa hii, huwez ukatengeneza barabara halafu miundombinu ya maji iwe mibovu
 
Nani wa kumfunga paka kengele ilhali aliyepaswa kulisimamia hilo ndiye bosi sasa??

Hiyo ni classical design failure.
Design ya kihandisi lazime iwe complete in its totality.
Huwezi kusema failure haiko katika road structure bali ktika drainage, hapo hapakuwepo na completeness ya design.
Na failure ya hapo mahala itakuwa progressive, kuanzia drainage, hadi road structure,
TANROADS wawe makini hapo, road base ikianza kulowa maji(ule mchnganyiko wa kokoto zinazoifanya base ya barabara) , muda si mrefu tutaanza kuona mashimo ya barabarani.
Hapo utajua kuna complete failure.
 
Ahaaa, hayo maji yamekosa njia hata ya kuelekea baharini means kuna njia ya maji hapo bomoa bomoa ndo only solution kwa hiyo sehemu, maji yapate njia yake... hata kama wakieka opening kubwa bado yanatakiwa yacross yapete njia ya kuelekea baharini na eneo lile lote lina nyumba za watu. So sio design failure bali ni opening ya maji kusafiri ndo inatakiwa

Design failure ni pamoja na barabara kutoperform kama ilivyotarajiwa kwa makosa yanoyoonekana sasa wakati wa matumizi.

Pale sanaki wabichi, makalavati yaliyowekwa ni madogo mno.
Na hata yangepanuliwa kuwa makubwa, ni lazima level ya barabara ipandishwe kwenda juu ili wakati wa mvua maji yakijikusanya , yasifikie level ya barabara.
Sasa hivi maji kupita juu ya barabara imekuwa kawaida.
Hiyo ni failure.
 
Hiyo siyo design failure wandugu bali ni: Inaccurate and incomplete design!

Hydrologists failed to accurately analyse the catchment flow which resulted to wrong prescription on the road of a drainage structure size.

Structural Engineer ana-design culvert au daraja kwa kufuata hydological data kutoka kwa hydrologist.

Also careful assessment of catchment flow ingemwezesha highway engineer to provide adequate design of road vertical alignment!

Siyo kweli unavyosema kwamba ni kosa la wahandisi au TANROADS bali ni kosa Ardhi na Manispaa kwani watu wamejenga kwenye njia za sili za maji ambazo zinakwenda moja kwa moja baharini hivyo hata kama wakiweka Madaraja ni kazi bure kwani hayo maji hayawezi kuedelea na safari, hivyo kuwalaumu TANROADS ni kuwaonea, wkt bomoa bomoa watu walilia sana kwamba siyo ubinadamu lkn lengo lilikuwa ni hilo kwamba waliojenga kwenye njia za maji wote wabomoe ili kuepusha hilo tatizo!

Kwa Mbezi beach yote ni balaa Mito yote imezibwa!

Due diligence haikufanyika hapo, matokeo ndio kama hayo, barabara mpya ina nagging design failures.
 
Tatizo ni njia za kupitisha maji ya mvua (storm water drainage system). Inawezekana zilibuniwa na kujengwa ipasavyo (specifications) lakini matumizi yetu ya mikondo ya maji ya mvua si ilivyo sahihi. Huko maji yanakotoka (upstream) hukusanya uchafu wa kila aina uliotupwa kwenye mabonde na mikondo ya maji ya mvua.

Si sahihi kulaumu uhenzi au ubunifu
